Yes, i used to love archie comics as a kid. Going to old book shops and finding a worn out comic i hadn't read before was one of my favorite things to do.

That riverdale show is a travesty, only watched a little bit for veronica.

Only when I was desperate and they were free hand me downs

And

Janet > Chrissy
Mary Ann > Ginger

And yes TS, i probably owned most of them for a period as i was an avid comic collector.
Janet over Chrissy you crazy bro!

I never collected them as a kid but did get my kids a couple years worth til they stopped reading them. Also have a Dan Parent original which has Veronica Betty and Archie drinking a soda

Loved them! Used to ditch my parents at the grocery store, take an archie comic at sit on the floor by the cashiers reading and wait for them to get the stupid groceries.

Not sure what my parents used to do with them but there was a couple years where I bought one every saturday while grocery shopping but I don't ever remember having a stack of them around the house.

Betty > Veronica
Mary Ann > Ginger
Daphne > Velma
Rachel > Monica

Midge > Veronica > Betty

My teenaged nickname was Moose

I had a pretty good collection of Archie comics when I was growing up. Everyone else collected Marvel or DC comics, but mine was Archie. I started small, then I just kept buying whatever I didn't have. The comics were so wholesome.

I have hundreds
in a bin in my storeroom. At yard sales, they were like 0.25c a pop

my daughters read them now. And my Garfield books lol

Edit: and my Richie Rich books

But I only let them take out 20 at a time because they destroy them pretty quick.

Yes I did. Also read Calvin and Hobbes, The Far Side, Garfield, The Wizard of Id, Hagar the Horrible, Foxtrot, and The Addams Family comics.

I had enough of these to fill a bookshelf as a kid.
I wish I still had my collection.
