First thing... I just want to say, I'm not a McGregor hater or a nuthugger. I like Conor, he's a showman with a sick fighting style and I hope he stays at the top at FW.
But forget Conor for a second, this isn't about him, this is about Nate.
lets officially remove Nate out of Nicks shadow. I no everyone thinks Nick is a better fighter for some reason even though they have the exact same style with maybe some subtle differences. IMO they're equally good but Nick is a little bigger.
I've been a fan of Nate for a long time. He's been an underdog for the majority of his recent fights and came out victorious in many. Underdog against Jim Miller, Cerrone, MJ and McGregor and beat them in spectacular fashion in some of the most entertaining fights in MMA. No one puts on a show like the Diaz brothers. They are the original showman. He gets doubted so many times and people go as far as to say he doesn't belong in the UFC let alone the top 5 at LW... even though he was already a top 5 fighter before the UFC removed him from the rankings because he refused to fight for a 20k/20k contract.
That fight with Conor was one of the most entertaining fights I've ever seen. It reminded me of Daley vs Nick. Conor McGregor with so much momentum but at one point (3:11 more specifically) in the second round, there was a complete 180 shift in momentum, Diaz turned it up, started taunting, got loose with his footwork, head movement and punches, started pushing forward, and he ended up rocking him multiple times before putting Conor away. That shift in momentum is a moment in MMA that I will always remember.
The Diaz brothers are the original showmen and are legends of MMA.
