Goals & Gains Devil's power/strength training log

BTW, I still wait for you to be able to do the onehanded pullup again. Go train for it!

Yea improving my weighted chins/shooting for OAC would be cool....however I think I need to improve my squat the most....it is by far the weakest of my lifts....

0+1 means I attempted a rep and failed at it....i literally had nothing on those 275s yesterday....

1+0 means I got the the rep but i couldnt be able to do another rep most likely...

It was pretty funny on front squats yesterday...i set the pins low and when I went down on 2nd setthe bar rolled and bounced off the pins straight up into my jaw......stunned me pretty good...

zercher deadlifts own bad....2 big bruises on the crooks of the elbows, a tendon soreness in the left elbow....and my trunk so sore i cant describe it...despite doing 0 core exercises yesterday.......

Yeah, that sounds about right.

thanks shaolin...yea i have seen that vid before...problem being is I need a coach to monitor my form and to get me to go through proper progressions to make sure my chain of movements is correct....

-so went to gym with no sleep and what is likely the beginning of a flu with a mild/moderate fever....yes yes i am not the brightest person in the world but i wanted to go friday and didnt so sucked it up...

3 hours is a LONG time to train. I am pretty well spent after 1. Guess i need to start taking this caffeine/aspirin/tylenol medley, eh?

I like long workouts when I have the time for them....this is my prefered method of training....3 big lifts and long breaks between my sets...especially working sets....this also allows me to do more core lifts....if not for feeling like complete shit yesterday I would have done much more.....

Did my method of getting under the bar help any one the Z deads? I've found myself getting more and more flexible as I continue to do these.

Any particular reason you're taking tylenol and aspirin together?

Mixing painkillers isn't a good idea.

Finnegan thanks a lot. That method works quite well....still a bit awkward as the plates start to roll a bit on one side but at least i am able to get in...perhaps i am going to put something heavy in front to keep them from rolling or do do it against a wall...

Alan I had a bad flu....this is why i took both aspirin and tylenol...even caffeine was there just about for its pain negating benefits...i read that i can combine either tylenol and ibuprofin or tylenol and aspirin...so this is what i did....this is also what i did during the really bad stomach flu virus episode...either one wasnt helping or nearly as effective....additionally i am a big guy and i only was taking 500mg tylenol+315-500mg aspirin...i appreciate the concern tho...

I put foam pads in front of them. That way, if I have to dump it, I'm not dropping cast iron weights on concrete, and it stops the bar from rolling.

Deadlifting 675 for three reps?!

*hides under a rock*

It's too bad he had the flu. Otherwise, his numbers may have been somewhat respectable.

Yeah, only 2 hours in the gym and 675 x 3? Pfft, I'll overhaul you soon.

How do I train once a week?
Just do everything in one session!
