News Dern vs. Ribas 2 moved to first main event of 2025

I thought they were going to stop the APEX FN cards for a bit as they were expanding it.

Even though I'd rather see guys throwing down in a main, Dern is always pleasant to behold from the rear, plus she does usually try to finish fights.

She might actually be the most persistent move-forward fighter I've ever seen, regardless of how many punches to the face she's taking, she doesn't shy away or stay at distance. And she's never at "ish" range either which is rare for WMMA, she always closes the Ish gap.

Can we please stop APEX fights? Nobody likes them.

But I'm happy they are getting the headline. Both are fun to watch. The UFC on ESPN Card was pretty stacked. Honestly, I'm more shocked Manel Kape is so far down on that card.

125 has a bit of a backlog of contenders due to the Grasso/Shev trilogy.

Fiorot, Barber, Natalia Silva are all looking at title shots.

I guess at 115 there's Suarez, Jandiroba and Yan... so yeah i guess I don't have a point ahhaa

Slim chance for both. Kind of a shame, because both had decent potential, but just never seemed to evolve much. Dern never improves her wrestling, and Ribas never improves her defense.
