Law Democrats introduce bill to enact term limits for Supreme Court justices

I agree in a general sense, but it's funny at how the two branches of government tasked with voting on such a thing, do not have term limits themselves.

Needless to say, this is not a serious proposal and will go nowhere.
Don't they only need Manchin and Sinema's support? Maybe I'm missing something.

If Dems had the majority and still introduced this bill I'd actually give them props.

But they don't, and anyone with half a brain can see what this is.
Paybacks for stealing a seat?

I'm all for it but it's a reactionary bill. If the Dems had the power in the courts right now, they would be totally silent. That's a big problem with both parties. It's a good bill it wouldn't be considered if they were in power. If they had any integrity, it would have been proposed while they were in power as a good faith bill.
Have we ever been in a situation where a nominee was purposefully not brought up for confirmation? Then have a President that let a far right conservative group choose his nominees get them quickly confirmed by the same group before losing power themselves?
