Now, that just doesn't match my memory of the actual platform Kamala ran on. I did a bit of digging. Let's see if she really had culture war nonsense as her entire platform. I've numbered the basic campaign issues she talked about from a quick summary to give some concise proportions. By my count below there are 17 major campaigning issues, some are borderline as to whether they could be called 'culture war nonsense' or not, but I'll err on the side of calling it bullshit if its borderline.
By my count numbers 1 (abortion) , 6 (gun control) 8 (civil rights for trannies), and 15 (legalize weed) are all very definitely what you would call culture war nonsense. Albeit, given both abortion and legalising weed have majority support, are they still mere bullshit? well, lets err on the generous side and say they are 'culture wars nonsense' even if the majority of Americans support them. There is also 4 (border bill) which is culture war bullshit but pandering to your side of the aisle, but lets be generous call it culture war nonsense anyway shall we? So 5 out of 17.
On the other hand, numbers 2 (economy), 3 (taxes), 5 (housing) 7 (voting) 9 (Healthcare), 10 (legal), 11 (minimum wage) 12 (small businesses) 13 (foreign policy) 14 (crime), and 16 (financial regulation) are not in the slightest 'culture war nonsense'
Taken all in all, your preconception seems to be pretty ill-conceived. It seems to me to be more the case that the right wing scream about trannies and people like you, lets be charitable, lets say you misremember the Dem platforms as though it was what the Reps says it was, rather than taking it at face value.
anyway, TLDR, you're wrong. Not only were 'culture war nonsense' not the whole platform, they weren't even the majority of the platform. So, not just wrong but quite badly wrong, then.
