All humans are tribal to a certain extent. It's probably something homo sapiens needed for survival thousands upon thousands of years ago and is baked into our DNA. But intelligent people in the modern world can fully suppress that and understand were all the same human beings. We just look different.

The problem is way way too many dumb people have a platform and express their stupid ass views.

Yeah, highly valid and reliable implicit bias studies DON'T reflect that white people have stronger biases than others despite the narrative that is frequently pushed these days. When measuring both in-group and out-group biases, there are in fact groups that have significantly stronger biases than white people (without naming names). As far as the sexes, biases are consistently quite even, which is interesting.

Some of these stats are pretty misleading, too. Take household debt to income ratio. Denmark has very high household debt of 252% of annual household income. Mexico is at household debt of 25% of annual household income. Where would you rather live? It would be the same with median income. What kind of cost of living expenses are we dealing with? And so on.......

I can see the perspective of non-white people and sympathize with them. White people have done some horrible shit in the past. Though, doing horrible shit isn't exclusive to any single race. All humans, everywhere, have done some horrible shit.

Were living in 2025, hanging on to the past isn't going to make any progress and it's just going to cause regression, tensions, and hostilities. I would really like a solution to bring people together, and create a more harmonious society, but the elites don't want that. They want to keep us divided and stoke racial tensions. Both Dems and Reps, these media and people are trash bottom feeders.

Then, you have all the dumb dumbs with their platforms spreading hate and idiotic rhetoric.

In this country, were all here together. My success is my neighbors success and vice versa. Maybe there's an afterlife that I can visit when I die that will properly explain why everything has to be this way.

There are some issues where I think they do need to move left-- such as ending support for Israel's genocide and pursuing universal healthcare. Don't look now, but those are positions with wide approval among the entire electorate.

Mostly, I think they just need to stand for issues that actually represent material concerns of the majority of the population.

Huh? Public systems aren't free, they deducated from taxes. So calculate what 15% of your federal contributions are and what 50% of your state contributions are. Since everyone has a different scale for that, there's not a standard nominal value amount.
