People should be frustrated with the current Dem party. The republicans are brutally incompetent as seen by our current circus and the Dems still can’t win because their candidates are all cans.

To add to that, they the dem voter base needs to chill tf out and stop alienating moderates and casuals. It’s all or nothing for too many of these people. Someone can agree with the majority of Dem policies but might disagree with something like trannys in sports, stricter border control, DEI etc. then they get called a racist, Nazi , homophobe, oligarc bootlicker etc. Insulting someone cuz they don’t 100% agree with your beliefs is a good way to lose votes and probably explains why the Dems lost a fair amount in the 24 election. AOC is getting death threats for voting on a bill. Chappel Roan got destroyed on social media for not endorsing a candidate cuz she didn’t feel educated enough to do so(she still voted for GOATmala). Say what you will about conservatives but they will still happily accept voters who don’t 100% agree with.

But it does show that typical left wing voters aren't interested in a really shambolic version of the Democratic party - whereas the right seem to be content with a really shambolic version of the Republican party, which is very sad and speaks volumes for the general intelligence/tolerance levels for appalling perormance.

I guess my point here is it feels like a very, very bizarre time for anyone to celebrate the shitness of the other party when both, really, should be taken out back and shot.

Maybe your wife doesn't understand what cutting billions from the supplemental nutrition assistance program will do or what the increase in school vouchers will do or changing the snap requirements. It's actually not very complicated. Maybe if she wants to post here I can explain it to her.

The good news is the budget for ICE went from 10 billion to 100 billion so I'm sure y'all will celebrate that. Oh, and the rich got a bunch of tax breaks.

I can't edit to answer your first question about alligator Alcatraz. No, we haven't but I think we could turn it into a fruitful trip for my son's education. I could tie it to the paperwork, fees, visas, and immigration forms that relate to foreign country's laws when we travel and how important it is that we follow the rules. He has had experience with us being boarded and inspected and all our paperwork checked. It would make a great Segway to understand consequences.

But your first comment about me being angry seems odd.

Can you imagine waking up and not having to go to work? Imagine not having an alarm clock. I walked upstairs to cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Then I did homeschool with my son. We barely got done before I had to take him to the homeschool BJJ class. Once we were done we drove over and caught the Tuesday matinee special at the theater to watch Lilo and Stich - all three of us for less than $20!!! We headed back to the marina and the kid forgot to finish some FLVS - so had to help him on that. Wife went to Sam's and spent $450. I cleaned up - I love cleaning. She got a rotisserie chicken and misc for dinner. Kid is playing Roblox now. We'll probably finish up with a game of Taco, Cat, Goat, Cheese, Pizza before putting him to bed.

You think Im angry? I'm the happiest I've ever been. My life is FILLED with joy!

I'll end the perfect day with a smile on my face as I lay with my wife. Can you imagine?
