I figured you would be in the Biden was moderate camp, and what you say is reasonable, but I still feel that he was slightly left of moderate. Not as far from moderate as trump is, however. Like I said, his progressive cabinet picks and his attempt at gun grabs make him not quite moderate imo.

I don't know. Do you acknowledge what he just did--that tariffs are a tax on the poor and middle class? The other guy kept trying to change the subject to saying he thinks they're good (and note that no economist--left, right, or center--will agree with that), which is a different question from what they actually do. And then that religious nut kept trying to repeat GOP smears of Biden rather than just admit that of course Trump supporters are more responsible for Trump winning than Trump opponents. Too many people in our society are allergic to the idea of taking responsibility and telling the truth.

Well, it's all relative. Manchin is probably dead center in American politics. Biden was closer to him than he was to, say, Warren or Sanders.

I don’t not agree the tariffs are a good idea. Quite the opposite. I disagree they are a direct tax on the middle and lower class. Trump did many, many times say he was increasing tariffs, which is factually raising taxes on everyone, especially the poor and middle class (the rich would get huge cuts overall, though). It's not something to agree or disagree about. He did. It's a fact. It's like disagreeing that the sun rises in the east.

It's not something to agree or disagree about. He did. It's a fact. It's like disagreeing that the sun rises in the east.

We may ultimately end up paying more for goods due to the tariffs, but I disagree that it is raising taxes in a traditional sense. My taxes will not go up-my out of pocket costs might. A tariff is a tax on imported goods. It’s not a tax like income tax. I know he repeatedly said he was raises tariffs on Mexico, Canada, and china until they got their shit in order with illegal migration and fentanyl. I was aware of that much. And I never disagreed with you on that or that the sun rises in the east. I just disagreed with you that he is raising taxes on the lower classes.

Man, I just don’t know what to think. I am seeing it both ways. The articles I read said he was reimplementing the 2017 tax system that was lower taxes. But your video and some other articles I read state taxes are only cut for the extremely wealthy.

Even if he cut my taxes, I still hate him, but I would be shocked if he raised taxes on his base of middle class and lower blue collar workers. So which source is right and which ones are wrong? I do know that he will lower taxes for the rich-that much I believe. He is a scumbag in that manner but he will help his rich buddies and I know he idolizes Reagan and his trickle down economics.
