Elections Democrat Party dirty tricks exposed

Damn, Balls. You’ve been blue pulse skull fucked by sound bites and focus group tested slogans for at least ten years and call Matt Taibbi a liar…it really is sad at this point.

Well he did lie about the twitter files. I notice you aren't even trying to refute that.
You don’t have to surrender your heart felt beliefs, there’s room for everyone who’s willing to make honest evaluation.

I'm not sure about that. I contend that a party of family values shouldn't celebrate a guy paying to fuck pornstars and cheating on his wives. What part of that evaluation is dishonest?

How did he do that? It was one of the biggest government censorship stories in recent memory.

Requests to not host pics of Hunter Bidens dick did not amount to government censorship. Which is why you never saw anyone make this claim in an actual courtroom that wasn't immediately dismissed.

We have a SCOTUS standard for when government requests = censorship. And requests that are ignored don't cut it. We had a massive thread on this. Sounds like you should read it.

This is the guy who, alongside Douglas Murray, made Malcolm Gladwell look like a complete an utter retard on those Monk debates?

seems to me american politics has always been crazy, the political violence portrayed in gangs of new york was based on real events. the mc carthy witchunts etc..
admittedly the irish went to war with themselves and the british beheaded their king...
It's kind of up and down, though. The end of the craziness of the '70s until Gingrich was a period of relative calm. I thought it looked like things were calming down during Biden's term, but I guess we have more craziness ahead.
They little troll came out of his hidey hole.
Name-calling people who notice what a hack you are doesn't make you not a hack. I think you realize that, which is why you're so unhappy.
Yeah, you’re probably right. My guess, is that with social media and the internet, everything is right in our face now and the average person can reach so many more people now than they could pre social media/internet so we are constantly getting everyone’s opinions on facebook and twitter. It’s funny, I see the same five memes from a bunch of my fb friends. Today’s meme is something like “87 million people are traveling today but couldn’t afford eggs last week” posted by all my leftist friends and each one thinks they are so unique posting it. Then, on the other side, several of my rightest friends posted some trans woman saying she will use violence to use the bathrooom of her choice.
Yeah, the increased reach of idiots is part of our particular challenge. We need a dose of conservatism now, just at the time the GOP has completely abandoned it.

I think it's a mistake to assign any agency to him. Holmes is going to say what The Party wants him to say. No more use in trying to reason with him than with a flier in the mail.

God, I miss moderates. I am sure there are those that would argue that Biden was a moderate but I disagree because his cabinet picks and promises made to blm were not moderate but very progressive. He went after guns and failed. But now, well, trump is not a moderate imo, he’s a fucking lunatic

Biden was a moderate, but he did make some outreach to the far-left flank of the party. Then Harris also ran as a moderate and made a lot of effort to reach out to Republicans disgusted with Trump, which severely pissed off a lot of leftists.

But I don't think there's anything particularly valuable about *ideological* moderation for its own sake. I think temperamental moderation and conservatism in the sense of being skeptical about radically changing what's working is much more needed. And then when it comes to ideology, we want people willing to follow reality where it leads, regardless of whether that means deregulating housing, cutting deficits (partly by raising taxes), making more of an effort to transition to green energy, or anything else.

I figured you would be in the Biden was moderate camp, and what you say is reasonable, but I still feel that he was slightly left of moderate. Not as far from moderate as trump is, however. Like I said, his progressive cabinet picks and his attempt at gun grabs make him not quite moderate imo.

As for taxes, unless you are referring to the rich, I am completely against more taxes for middle class and below. We simply can’t take any more and I don’t believe trump will do that. I absolutely don’t see him raising taxes. I see him either keeping things the same and reducing taxes on thr rich or reducing taxes for everyone just so he can get some positive vibes just so he can quietly lower taxes on his rich buddies. That was one area I agreed with the dems on was taxing the fucking shit out of anyone earning millions and hammering the shit out of billionaires and billionaire companies like Amazon, for example. This is the one area I definitely agree with sen pochahantas and Bernie

Trump is proposing higher tariffs, which is a tax on the middle class and below. And he's also taking about a big tax cut for the rich, which will have to be paid for with some combination of lower spending and higher taxes on everyone else (and the size of it is actually larger than the tariffs).

I think we are way to squeamish about taxing the non-rich, but if we're talking income taxes, it obviously makes sense to start with the highest earners. Income tax isn't the ideal revenue source, though.

Anyway, my broader point there was just that we need to follow reality where it leads, without imposing blindspots. If we need lower deficits, as we currently do, we have to figure out to get it instead of pretending that we can cut rich people's taxes *and* lower deficits or protect all popular programs. Something has to give. Taxes/deficits were just one example.

Again, Trump's most talked about and consistent proposal is a tax increase for the poor and middle class, and the most obvious other move is a tax cut for the rich.

Not at all I’m a disrespectful manner, but do you have a source I could read on this? Because what I heard him say was something different. Ok, not exactly true because I don’t watch one moment of his debates nor did I care what either had to say. I wasn’t voting for either of them, so why would I bother?

You mean on him supporting tariffs or on cutting taxes for the rich? Or both?

I am not disputing that. The taxes on middle and lower class is what I am not seeing anywhere
Tariffs *are* taxes on the middle and lower class. That's who pays them (and a higher percentage of their income than the rich, obviously).

Great work by Matt Taibbi digging in to the fuckery going on with the "No Labels" movement.
It would seem that for all of the "saving democracy" the Democrats go on and on about their operative groups will work hard to ensure that only controlled opposition will be allowed, and are willing to do some VERY questionable things to maintain the status quo.

I suppose this is no revelation for many, but it makes one wonder how much of this shit can keep being exposed before the Democrat party is laughed (or sued, prosecuted, etc, etc) completely out of relevance.

Seems like we need to look a little closer to home when deciding who is the most corrupt country on the planet..

it's a good read, enjoy!

You should be banned for not providing cliffs but it's not too late. Why don't you Cliff some of this for everybody?

Personally, I think the Democrats do share the Lion's share of why we have Trump again, but you got to cliff that stuff man.

Uh, most of the Twitter files have nothing to do with Hunter. We had a massive thread on this. Sounds like you should read it. But I guess that would make it more difficult to strawman the whole thing.
