Social DEI is so dead

All I am saying is no one gets rage boners about critical race theory (CRT) anymore.

It's not as trendy anymore. DEI is the current flavor.

Lmao at all the myopic lefties jumping on the OP avatar and eating the pavement head first

<36>

And even if. What the fuck "We are all one" have to do with DEI ?

"Humans are all similar / equals" isn't exactly meaning "let's impose percentages of hired workers according to their ethnicity and gender" ...

Quite the contrary if you have a functionning brain. Brainwashed binary sectarism.

Step 1: Look out for the trendy thing conservatives are getting rage boners about
Step 2: Find the trendy rage boner inducing thing in your personal life- reaching to find an example is encouraged!
Step 3: Concoct an anecdote about the rage boner inducing thing and post about it on a karate forum
Step 4: Take a bath in all the rage boners you have created among the people posting in your thread

Back when Bush was president, the trendy thing was gay marriage
Obama: still gay marriage for a bit, but then the Tea Party was created to oppose anything he thought about or did (tan suit, grey poupon, etc.)
Trump: find anything you don't like and/or identify with, call it woke

I'm willing to bet 5 years ago most people didn't know what DEI stands for.. but now that it's the trendy thing to hate, everyone does.
Remember how quickly the CRT panic came and went? The same people who scream NPC at anyone who disagrees with them sure do act in unison.

Do you? The website links that come up when I put that in show:

1st: A site talking about getting more women into the role

2: A site talking about a discrimination lawsuit over hiring practices

3.-end of first page: more sites trying to attract women into the role.

Where is the site that says "women in mining positions incapable of doing job?" Its sure not reflecting in my search, even with more targeted phrasing, nothing comes up.

The guy provided his source, I'll take him at his word as I think based off the subject of the articles there are labor shortages and it sure seems like theyd rather have women in those roles than nobody, but I can imagine for the men working those jobs theyre pissed when someone gets in who cant do it and gets special treatment.

I was just being cheeky as it sounded exactly like a story I remember seeing for years.
The most recent story I heard last week from my admin assist whose husband is a miner was that he was asked by his supervisor to go change a flat tire on a female miner's equipment, which is a task the person operating said equipment must be able to perform. He refused as he should. Her job, not his.

If Harris/Walz win
Harris promised she will push the DEI/ESG.

Despite these ESG/DEI polices not helping companies nor their sales.

lol...

DEI is complete garbage

And yes, companies are dumping it

Thank god

Sorry we don't like racism.

Just because it is not in the headlines does not mean it is gone. Did Florida stop actually starting to represent the views of the general public in higher ed?
Do the polls show that republicans see educators in more positive light now compared to when you think the panic was?

DEI is pushed from the top. So long as the top wants it to, it continues. Interestingly the top-down propaganda also leads to an eventual bottom-up support in the propagandized. So the support for something can look grassroots, but was a top-down decision to begin with.

The main reason I get a rage boner over it is that I see my company lay off good people because we can't afford them anymore, yet a week later they announce a newly created position, chief DEI officer. I know that salary is being paid for with the layoffs.

I don't mind if they talk about dei or have events celebrating diversity, but stop pretending it's a critical part of a business that needs it's own highly paid leaders and staff. Especially if it costs me staff who are actually critical.

DEI should just be part of HR's existing responsibilities.

Best self-own of 2024.

"Man I hate diversity!!" - guy with Av of fighter holding literal diversity blanket

Nah, guys like that are ok with diversity as long as a couple of things happen:

-It's small. So if 20-30% are nonwhite, it's fine. I mean, it's not 1950 anymore.

-They're at the bottom. It's cool if the oil change guy, or the hotel housekeepers, or the bar backs are nonwhite. But seeing too many them in upper management or a "corporate group" will make them feel uneasy.

"I don't mind diversity at all, my lawn guy is Mexican and he's awesome. Always on time and does the job cheap!!"

*After Mexican lawn guy buys the house nextdoor:

"I wonder if he's here legally!"

Nice. I forgot the "as long as they live far from me" factor.

I can't remember where I saw it but it's been found that white flight takes hold despite social class similarity. So even when blacks, Latinos and even Asians (yes, Asians) of the same social class move in, whites start moving out.

DEI Officers...

Amazing, they did it... They managed to shit out a worthless career position for all those retarded Gender Study majors.

Seriously, what is a DEI officer doing on a day to day basis

Anything? Counting employees to verify quotas?

Throwing potential resumes based on gender and race? Before even looking at their experience and qualifications?

Clown World

People who tended to conflate racism for classism were always full of sh*t. Rich and black is still black. Rich and Latino is still Latino. The sad part is it's usually the rich minorities willing to tolerate that mess for even the slightest hint of favorability. I'm looking at YOU Hershel Walker

What’s your point? Even black people try to move out of black neighborhoods.

Edit: remember where those BLM fuckers bought houses?

I used remember at a time when companies, studios, and firms who used to hire people/employers the merit of their "job experiences"
This ESG/DEI stuff in companies doesn't seem is doing that..
