The chart states, "In advanced countries," and you just listed a bunch of third-world or developing countries. That's like seeing a graph that says, "Most successful small businesses" and pointing out how "intriguing" it is that the list does not include Walmart. I would certainly hope that the United States at least has a lower homicide rate than the third world, wouldn't you?

We don't have open/conceal carry up here either, so the point is kind of moot. We may have guns, but nobody is walking around strapped in the city to prevent this kind of thing.

For quality statistical analysis you would want to compare the US to other nations with similar levels of wealth and freedom, then look at their gun violence rates. Wanting to add third world countries that have "gun control" would be hilariously bad design. Those nations have "gun control" but also don't have strong central states to regulate and enforce. They're also plagued by civil war, genocide, war, and a host of other issues.
