Notes: I took this past week off. It was an unexpected deload. I strained my neck pretty badly some time ago, to the point where I couldn't turn my head. I was even feeling sharp pains down my arms. I tried to squat a few days ago and got a few sets of 5 in with 145, but it was miserable and I went home. The next days my legs were SO sore. One week of no squatting and I felt like someone beat me with a bat.

Anyways, neck is still recovering but it's a lot better. It's always hard for me to know when a deload is a good idea because I always seem to feel like shit. I'm glad I took off this time.

**volume PR with 180**

Notes: Really tired today but I got my work in. Pretty happy with this volume PR, although they were pretty challenging. 180 is only 7 lbs off from my 1RM.

Also, I went to the nurse at the school that I teach at and got my blood pressure taken. I have very low blood pressure apparently and she said that could be why I feel so crappy/lightheaded all the time. She told me to eat something a little sugary before I train, but I already have been doing that. Any on thoughts?

105 x 2
110 x 1

115 x 1

Notes: This was a session from yesterday. I've been trying to rush these training days in because Steve and I are getting married in a week and all of the family events this week will certainly require me to take a break from the gym.

Unfortunately, I don't think I rested enough between bench sessions and I felt a slight tearing feeling in my pec on one of those heavy singles. I was supposed to do 5 singles with 120 but the pec felt terrible when I tried the first single and just let it down. I thought I might have really injured myself, but it feels a lot better today. Just feels sore/bruised.

I need to up the intensity of my training sessions with less rest and more dedication to warm up and assistance.

The good news is deadlifting felt great!

Looking good in those pics, WC. Body fat is definitely down.

Thanks! I'm going through a little battle in my head about competing in two weeks. I kind of lost motivation and just care about getting stronger more. It's also going to be incredibly expensive. Who knows what I'll end up doing...

Notes: Steve and I got married over the weekend, so that was a PR. Found it hard to keep up with logging but I did find time to train of course. It was a great day and we had beautiful weather.

I'm still recovering and feel very tired, but squats felt fast and easy today. Still not sure what to do about bikini competition. I want to do it, but always make excuses not to for some reason.

And for those of you that are lucky enough not to be a FB friend and be bombarded with wedding pics, here you go:

yaaay, I was wondering if you were going to do a wedding log post. I mean, it counts as a workout. A mental workout. It looks like it was so fun, and I've was groaning all weekend about not being able to go. Congratulations!

Congrats on tying the knot! I like the outdoor venue and the sunflowers. Very nice!

Thanks everybody! It was such a great day but I am STILL tired from the commotion.

Notes: This is from yesterday's session. I've been really bad about logging on Sherdog. Training is OK, I have basically only been getting in my work sets and nothing else. I don't know why but I've started skipping assistance. I don't seem to notice a huge difference in my performance to be honest.
