Deadlifts and milkshakes

Depends on your goals. I bulked for five months straight, once.

This is what I pretty much did :icon_lol:

One day I looked scrawny, the next I was just lanky and fat  :icon_lol: My stupid chicken legs won't go away though. This bring great shame to my family.

Yeah, I only use one glass.

I didn't realize you were 260! Now I feel even more accomplished.

In all seriousness, how long does one typically plan to "bulk" for? Obviously, this is not a lifestyle diet or maybe it is for some people. I'd like to reach 140 in the near future but still compete in the 132 class in my next meet (April).

6'2" 260 of (semi)solid mantastic meat. Ok, that was too much. I'm never really on a true bulk. I eat pretty well I just eat quite a bit. I wouldn't consider myself fat but I'm not small...

1,000cal shake 7AM (2 cup milk, 4 eggs, protein, daily veg supp)
500cal shake 10AM (by 10AM I've had 70% of most ppl's total intake for a day)
~800cal lunch 12PM (lots of chicken)
300 cal snack 5pm (banana's and PB)
700cal post workout shake 8pm
600-800cal dinner 9pm

So I'm consistently around 4,000 cal/day which ideal for a competitor of my size. Half of my cals come from shakes which is good as theres not a whole lot of fat but it'd be better to subsistitue meat snacks in there for my 10AM shake. But if I need to cut for a comp I'll cut out a snack or dial back the shake cals a little. Sacrificing meal cals is last ditch.

Indeed. Chicken legs are a clear indicator of problems below the waist.

:)

I'm going to post some progress photos later on tonight so everyone can see I have a long ways to go before I am 'fat.' I bet a year bulk would do me some good lol

Wish I had your problem. If I could eat for you I would!

I read this in an overly-stereotypical Asian man voice picturing a sad Japanese man looking down at his dis-proportionately small legs. Hilarious.
