I REALLY want to squat right now but I'm sore as shit today. I've been lifting back to back all week. I'll probably suck it up and go.

Glad I have met your approval!

I'm not so impressed with the baconator, they pale in comparison to my homemade baconburgers.

Your food porn made me feel dirty.

I'm a happily dieting man that should not be looking at such smut.

I am definitely making those soon! Looks awesome.

Notes: I watched a video of Mark Bell last night that said the most successful powerlifters are the ones who work their asses off. I thought about all of my past training sessions and realized I never really "work my ass off." I'm not lazy and I work hard in the gym but I rarely work harder than I need to. I really tried to focus on that today. As a result, I pushed through my squats and was growling and grunting. Sure, it was only 105 pounds but considering I could barely squat the bar two months ago because of my knee pain, I am really happy with my performance today.

Oh my god! I've been in macro-mode so by my quick mental math that is like 1400 calories!

Wait this was one meal right? It's not impressive if it's a day's worth of eating. In fact, it's probably not enough calories lol

Seriously?!?! Isn't like 1400 calories considered a diet for most people? lol

Dude, I CAN'T eat anymore. Not because I don't have the appetite but I have no time in my day for the preparation and the actual eating part.

That's more than 1400 calories, unless those are the smallest portions ever, the shake alone could be 600-800 depending on the quantities of the ingredients you put in

Yeah, I just put all of it into a calorie counter and it's almost 3,000 calories for the day.

I've made shakes that had no ice cream in them and had them come out to 1200 calories. By my reckoning that one is about 1600 is she makes two glasses full like I do.

Haha, the way she talks I'm willing to bet its not two full glasses :D

The protein shakes I used to make we're milk, yogurt, frozen strawberries, peanut butter, 2 scoops protein, and a banana and those were 800-900. Dont want to think if I added ice cream

Yeah, I only use one glass.
I would say as an, admittedly, skinny girl if you're meeting the eating approval of a 260lb'er you're doing pretty well.

I didn't realize you were 260! Now I feel even more accomplished.

In all seriousness, how long does one typically plan to "bulk" for? Obviously, this is not a lifestyle diet or maybe it is for some people. I'd like to reach 140 in the near future but still compete in the 132 class in my next meet (April).

Wow you guys eat big. My shakes are 400 cal :/ maybe this is why I'm a skinny fuck.

Strawberry Banana Shake (1 cup frozen berries, 1 cup vanilla soy milk, 1 cup greek yogurt, 1 scoop casein protein)
400 cal, 50g protein, 40g carbs

Depends on your goals. I bulked for five months straight, once.
