Deadlifts and milkshakes

You forgot to mention that those 105 attempts were paused.

I didn't think it was important.

Anyways, update on my training.

I plan on pulling tomorrow and then taking the rest of the week off. My meet is Saturday. Any last minute advice and tips would be greatly appreciated. As you can see below, I don't have too much to stress about...I'll be the only one in my weight class. (I'm the one with the censored last name, sorry creepers).

Best of luck with the meet.

If you really don't want to have your full name known, you probably shouldn't mention the details of your meet, since the results, including names, will most likely be posted online.

Thanks guys.

I actually don't care about people knowing my name. I just don't want my name ever linked to my training log, mainly for job finding reasons.

Good luck at the meet.

Last minute advice: do not stress over shit.

Thanks dudes. I'm not stressing over anything actually. All of my attempts are numbers that I've done before, so I won't be setting any PR's. My main goal really is to just not chicken out and not hurt myself. I think I can handle that.

Got into the gym one last time...couldn't help it.

Notes: I've failed a lot on all of my lifts this month and I wanted to build some confidence before getting to the meet. I think this did the trick.

Also, I finally got my singlet in the mail yesterday. I look like a bony worm. :icon_lol:

My singlet is supposed to be for people up to 165 lbs. (a medium), but it is insanely tight on me, so much so that I'm afraid I'll rip it one of these days. It's weird, because it's an Inzer singlet, and I would have thought that with all the 165-lb. giants out there, their singlets would be huge. I don't have any advice for feeling comfortable in these things; they suck.

Good luck at your meet. I don't have any tips or advice, except to tell you to try and just relax and enjoy it. If you can do that, you'll be fine.

Ha I was thinking the same thing about ripping! I feel like I'm a pretty thin 132 pounder so I can't imagine how others with actual muscle feel lol

and thanks, I feel pretty relaxed but excited about it. I'm sure come Friday night and Saturday morning, I'll start to feel just a little bit nervous though.

I felt like a Hillshire farms sausage in mine, it wasn't pretty :D

Good luck in your meet, sure you'll do awesome

Haha, I've heard a lot of people refer to themselves as sausages in a singlet.

Thanks for the encouragement!

I DO eat! And a lot! I am the true definition of a hard gainer. Two years ago when I started this log, I was 130. I am STILL 130 haha

Good luck on Saturday. Congrats on winning your weight class :)

So, I created a thread with the write up of my meet. But here is the video for my log as well.

I'm really exhausted from today and my hip is bugging out. Going to chill out for a little while before I start lifting again then get right back at it to make some gains for 2012!
