(GOMAD? Is this guy serious?)
Are YOU serious?
(GOMAD? Is this guy serious?)
Generally a deadlift will be better if you try to look like a sleazy beach gigolo while you do it - puff chest, arch back, ass out.
I guess Rippetoe is stronger and smarter than all the 900lb+ benchers or 800+ deadlifters who don't compete in the full power meets, like Shawn Lattimer, Brent Howard and Scott Mendelson, since they don't have a competitive total
You pointed out that Rip sucked because his competitive total sucked, and you, as a super-badass internet lifter, are stronger than Rip. The implication is that if you are stronger than Rip, then we ought not listen to him, and maybe learn from you or other super-strong people.
I asked for your compettiive total because people who talk shit should be able to back it up. It turns out you don't have a competitive total. You don't even have video evidence of your best lifts. In fact, you can't even say that you are stronger in Rip if we are talking about one competitive lifter to another.
As for your point above, I never said that you needed a competitive total to listen to someone, nor did I say that bench only or specialist lifters are not worthy of listening too. I just wanted to know how much of a badass you are since your post indicated are clearly bigger and stronger than Rip.
I rarely record anything I do because it's a pain in the ass to set up my ipod or whatever I am using as a camera and honestly I am more worried about getting the lift and not having my spotter fuck me up then proving to some nerds on the internet what a badass I am. On top of that I'm not going to screw up my training cycle to do this either.
As for meets and so forth, I would be fucking embarrassed to go into a meet with anything less than a 500 bench. I never said I was a good lifter; I suck. I guess you are a hardass now because you did your first meet and that somehow makes you special (it doesn't). Now from your videos and your discontinued log, I probably bench and deadlift quite a bit more than you while apparently being less of a fatass, so you don't really have much room to talk either.
I try to mostly keep to giving advice on this forum, but every in thread you find your way into on this forum you act like a condescending piece of shit. These forums were meant to be a place where lifters help each other get stronger and encourage one another to push themselves, but assholes like you turn it into a place where people just tear each other down.
Best deadlift advice yet.
