What would you prefer? Can they please stop pawning off womens title fights as co main events?
Well pointedly no, prize fighting is about making the most money with the least brain damage. That is why 'prize' is literally the first word in the job description.
More broadly, I don't think it makes sense to turn two obvious contenders into one when they are both proven. Its just overall bad planning for the division. There is no mandate Sean Strickland fights for the title again after a single fight against a guy on a losing streak, and it was a stinker.

Funny thing is Khamzat will be in Australia, so there was no visa issue to stop the fight
I agree. They should be no higher than show opener. Can they please stop pawning off womens title fights as co main events?
For many women's fights I'd agree but Weili put on one of the best fights ever vs Joanna and gets knockouts so she 100% gets a passCan they please stop pawning off womens title fights as co main events?
he literally did a meet and greet in Australia recently, this just a lie lol
It was postponed to Feb, presumably so he can be there when the fight happens.he literally did a meet and greet in Australia recently, this just a lie lol
He doesn't need a work visa to do a meet and greet like he would to fight in a UFC event. He probably still can't get one for most Western countries.
Australia is not an easy place to get a visa for, visitor or work visa, so the fact he can come to Australia means he is not banned from the 5 countries, known as the 5 i's.
Those are just words and details.
He literally doesn't need an OFFICIAL work visa for a meet and greet like he does to fight in a UFC event.
I’d normally say this but Zhang is exciting and Tatiana has been waiting a long time for this. I’m actually excited for this fightCan they please stop pawning off womens title fights as co main events?
Feel bad for what? Virna is gonna end up fighting the winner. She's actually fortunate she didn't have to fight Suarez for a title eliminator. Also the only one to actually pull out their fight was Virna. Suarez was never injured, just bad mma reporting. They need to find a replacement for Suarez. She is almost as bad as Khamzat. I feel for Virna. She was suppose to fight Suarez and Suarez pulled out. Virna ends up losing the opportunity for the title eliminator.

Suarez never pulled out against Virna. That was some amateur reporting. Tatiana immediately denied she was injured and till this day you can't find any info on this mystery injury. The UFC clearly shelved the fight for Tatiana to fight Weili. Everyone conveniently fails to acknowledge that Virna pulled out with a knee injury last June against Tatiana. If anything Virna is probably going to get her title shot against the winner. This is the best case scenario for her because had Virna not pulled out she would be 2 to 3 fights away from a title shot after a Suarez mauling. Every day/month and year that passes only benefits the rest of the girls, as injuries has been the only thing to slow Tatiana down. The only person getting fucked is Weili.Virna is getting fucked. Virna stepped up and beat Lemos when Suarez pulled out of a fight with Lemos. Then Virna signs to fight Suarez and suarez pulls out, leaving virna without an opponent. How do we reward virna? we don't, instead we reward the one who virna has been cleaning up after, the one who pulled out of two fights in a row.
It's stupid.
