Davis used to be/is a Rousey hater

I met and spoke to Davis several times. She did express discontent when Rhonda got a strikeforce title fight over her. In her eyes it was only due to trash talk. This was years ago though and I don't remember who Ronda was fighting.

If you're an OG like Alexis Davis who competed in WMMA when there was no money in it and nobody cared, you're gonna have some resentment toward the wunderkind who bursts onto the scene and quickly becomes famous.

There are a few ladies still fighting today that have been around back then and quite frankly they should be happy that now because of Ronda (sort of), they're actually starting to get a proper pay even if it's still not champ money.
No need for resentment though that makes for good beef too . Take Baszler as an example, she clearly worded her pleasure on TUF of the wmma world finally getting exposure. I think for most of them it's bittersweet.
I do get your point though.
