Both talked a big game.

Alvarez called Conor the easiest fight in the division and proceeded to get decked 5 times. Got shrugged off like a toddler when he tried to clinch and basically was made Conor's bitch.

Till claimed he was going to dominate 2 or 3 divisions, saw himself as the best ever, and didn't land a single strike in 2 rounds of a title fight, before getting little brother-ed.

What about Ronda when she returned to fight Nunes? That was rough. Also honorable mention to Ngannou who didn't perform up to par against Stipe, and Maia in either of his title fights.

The keyboard warrior when he made this thread.

Alvarez... it's not even close!

There are a lot more title fights where the champion dominated. I will always prefer a domination by a challenger.

1. Serra vs GSP
2. Conor vs Eddie
3. JJ vs Esparza (if we want to include WMMA)

Eddie because he's a terrible, terrible fighter.

Till got dominated every second of the fight. At least Alvarez landed a significant strike.

Eddie, Till was the challenger, if he doesnt talks trash the fight would had done 50k ppvs.

Alverez by a mile. Till has an excuse... He was given the fight because of hype. He is still unproven, and obviously needs to work on his ground game. Eddie is a vet, and should have had a better gameplan after seeing chad take him down easily. Trying to brawl like he normally does was a horrible idea for eddie. He should have known better.

Eddie looked like a guy pulled from the crowd. Till at least looked like he knew what he was doing (on the feet, that is).

None of these guys "embarrassed themselves". Fighters believe that shit about themselves...if they didn't, they shouldn't be fighting. If you think guys are embarrassed by getting to fight for a title in the best organization in the world and coming up short, then maybe you watch MMA for the wrong reasons, ya goof.

There is nothing wrong in getting embarrassed ya goof. Why do you get worked up when a couple of big mouths get served some humble pie?

Eddie by a mile, he couldn't even remotely compete with the leprechaun

I have to say neither guy has anything to be ashamed of, but I believe Alvarez ate more crow
1. He has had an amazing career but was never ever beat like that
2.he called Conor the easiest fight in the division
3.has way more experience in big fights

Till was thrown into this fight way too early

Eddie.
Till was unproven, untested, young and only got the shot cos of situational circumstances..
(GSPs potential comeback, Woodley operation, Colby trying to fk with ufc)

till talked himself up more than anything. alvarez went on the offensive in the the pre-fight trash talk saying conor was the easiest fight in the division and similar nonsense. and then he got punked.

Eddie looked like a guy pulled from the crowd. Till at least looked like he knew what he was doing (on the feet, that is).
Dropped his hands and fell right into the right hand he said he would not play into. He got too lax and thought he could beat Woodley to the punch. Eddie got dominated, but Till didn't look like anything that fight. Except two punches, after he got mauled on the ground.
