Anyone else have a gut feeling we see Castle in an episode or 2?

With Fisk being out it seems highly likely that Frank wants to end him as he threatened during this scene:

I'd be surprised if Frank doesn't guest star at some point. I suspect Fisk will be trying to use Karen as leverage against Matt, and Frank has strong feelings for her.

That's kind of where my head is at too.

I know Frank started as a one off villain originally against SpiderMan but SpiderMan/Daredevil are incredibly intertwined characters and Frank is this auxillary character that routinely runs into both of them in some fashion.

Then with Karen, I wouldn't be surprised like you say that Fisk grabs her as a means to get at Karen and Matt gets to where she's supposed to be held and finds a pile of dead bodies and Frank interrogating someone as only Frank can.

This is the studio version of the storyline that sees Karen go off the fucking rails as a smack addict doing porn too because she sells out Matt to Fisk in the comics.

I know never minding the trademark/ownership issues that the character is too "BIG" to be on a Netflix show it'd be real cool if they somehow acknowledge SpiderMan doing his thing in NY too. Netflix is setting it up in a way that each Defender member gets their own borough in NY.

This scene kind of falls apart during their fight. Afterwards it gets too cartoonish. The acting is all there, it’s great, it’s just the dialogue.

Arrow was excellent for two seasons then quickly degenerated into a pile of cum.

Very looking forward to this next season of Daredevil.

I am too. But this show relies heavily on anatagonists. The better the antagonist, the better the show. Daredevil is a tough character onscreen. He can’t use his eyes to emote. That’s not easy for an actor. Also the story lines from the comics are brutal....Karen is a heroin addicted porn star in the comics.

After the mediocre last seasons of Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist this needs to not suck. I’m kind of worried. If this sucks, I might be done with Netflix MCU for a while.

they've invested a lot of effort and screen time into Karen, i thinking her story goes differently than it did in the comics.

Murdock will be the one going down a dark path in this season or at some point,so i expect her to be squeaky clean.

and they've recently killed off, temporarily as we all know, one of Matt's loves, i expect her to be bulletproof for a while.

I was going to mention the Born Again story arc, but you beat me to it. The problem I have with that is that Netflix Karen is a far stronger character than comic book Karen. I don't see her reaching the level of despair where she'd sell Matt out.

Agreed but Marvel has done a good job of following set up storylines from the comic books with good changes.

The Planet Hulk storyline showing up in Ragnarok only it's Thor that lost his powers
Ultron showing up but only with Stark and not both him and Pym
Jigsaw being tied to Castle but for different (better imo) reasons

The punisher thread devolved into people bitching about it being slow, but what they did with Jigsaw was awesome. I don't think I ever knew his real name, so it was such an "oh shit" moment when I finally made the connection.

I saw the guys villain turn a mile away, but he was so close to Frank I thought it worked on its own, I was already locked in and didn't think about it any deeper.

In the comics Billy Russo or Billy The Beaut is a mafioso more worried about his appearance than anything. After Punisher disfigures him he gets mentally deranged. A lot of his characters seems like the Marvel version of Joker almost. Toe to toe Punisher smokes him every damn time but it's the shit he does to get to Punisher through other people that makes him so goddamn scary.

Kinda like the impossible choice Joker leaves Batman in Dark Knight Rises between the boats or saving Harvey or the girl is the sorta thing Jigsaw is famous for. You want to see a closer to comic book version of Jigsaw the Stevenson Punisher movie is the best example.

I’m getting a lot of flack for my love of Arrow. It’s a fun show. It’s not Shakespeare of course. But neither is Daredevil. The stupid things the redhead does is equivalent to the dumb girl who goes into a dark basement in a horror movie to fix the fuse.

Like I said, i liked it through the first two seasons or so. But when it descended into a relationship soap opera it made me want to puke. It was the same with True Blood. Ok to start than non stop 'which one do I love... I am so torn... oh woe is me'.

After Sara came back Arrow took a nose dive because you could instantly tell that Amell and the chick playing Laurel have no on screen chemistry at all because he and the chick playing Sara DO have that chemistry. Add to that that Laurel constantly has sister envy AND can't act and it's just brutal.

I'll watch the show to it's conclusion since I'm so invested in it but it's not what it was season 1.

Agreed. Netflix Jigsaw is far cooler than the OG Comic Book version, who was just another Wise Guy.

I like that he genuinely wanted to get Frank out of the country with a new identity, and that he genuinely didn't want things to go down the way they did.

He confirms his intentions to his mom: "Maybe the only friend I ever had....I gave him a choice...a way out, but he rejected it" - paraphrasing here...but that's the gist of it.
