Television DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN (Premieres March 4, 2025)

I never thought I’d say this, but Vincent D’Onofrio should have gained more weight for this role (original DD, I still haven’t seen the new one).

I want Marlon Brando in The Score sized D’Onofrio for this shit. Then he would really look like Kingpin.

D'Onofrio's in his early 60's, I believe. Significant weight gain at that age comes with potentially serious health consequences, so I don't blame him for using the fat suit. Gary Oldman did the same in Darkest Hour, and for the same reason.

Besides, he still holds the record for Weight Gained for a Role as Private Pyle in Full Metal Jacket. The Don has nothing to prove. ;)

Ayelet Zurer absolutely owns the Vanessa Fisk role. Good looking, doesn't lack confidence.

Wish they just re-used the Netflix intro music unchanged.

I hope they re-cast Iron Fist.

Loras Tyrell was so wrong for that part.

He did nail the spoiled rich kid aspect but failed at everything else.

His movement looked terrible, any fight scenes that weren't a stunt guy were horrible.

Then it comes out later he refused to train with the rest of the actors and stunt team, no showed the whole fight camp they held before production and just completely refused to do the physical aspects of the role.

Just let Jessica Henwick be the iron fist, at least she can move.

DDL would do it. He would do it for us.

has anyone else commented on the fact that most shows these days have the same heavy cello/violin scores, and similar intros?

the violins or cellos always have this slow start and reach a loud crescendo.

I have another observation: While watching Defenders, I couldn’t help but think that, if the world is really at stake, they could just use guns and shoot all the ninjas.
Punisher did it. So why can’t they just shoot some of the ninjas? Stick doesn’t care if he kills people. He could have had a machine gun or something.

Don't try and over think it.

I wonder how much of the same production crew of these three IPs are the same

Wasn’t a huge fan of how Muse was handled, but I can’t complain too much.

Solid episode. DD using the batons a lot more and the grappling hook as well.

I liked the imagery of Muse’s blood painting the canvas for sure. It was poetic justice.

Episode 7 sucked

Episodes 5,7 all felt bad felt jarring with writing an direction and tone.

Episodes 1,2,6 were okay

Episodes 3,4 were very good
