Judges suck .....Flying knee clearly Hurt Mitchell and Filli was landing the better shots .....easy round to score for me ....but I don’t score fights like a pansy ....a damaging knee to the face should score more then laying on someone

Bryce took Fili down like 8 times and controlled him on the ground for 10 mins of a 15 min fight. And on the feet the strikes were even, he got hit clean literally once. The fuck you talking about TS.

I don’t see Zabit nor Burgos stopping Fili. Chances are Fili could edge a three round fight against either, I wouldn’t pick him to beat either of them, but it is more than possible for him to win 2 out of 3 rounds, which he was entirely unable to achieve versus Bryce.

If it was as 'clear' as you make out then at least 2 of the judges would have agreed with you. They didn't. It was a close round

As others have pointed out, Fili is a high level opponent. Not designed to be a cake walk.

Not really. Fili's a pretty good grappler, and Mitchell was taking him down at will towards the end; controlled him pretty well too.
Kid is good, but obviously can still improve.

We watched two different fights. Bryce has dead people buried in that Arkansas field.

All Fili did was survive.

Lol Bruce literally humped him Jon Fitch style the entire third round.

If anything Bryce was the one "surviving" via avoiding fighting in the third.

Fili has zero TDD, it was a favorable matchup for Mitchell. Kid needs to improve his cardio and striking bigtime but he has big potential. Not a great performance though to be certain.

Dudes still a Hot Prospect imo.
The momentum and speed on those takedowns is incredible, his Gas Tank is really good I think, and his ruthless aggressive BJJ will fuck with many who aren't ready for it, his strikings not top tier by any stretch but it's not as bad as some other grapple specialists who do very well... I think this guy can sub guys at any moment in any round, and he's likely only going to improve, still lots to work on.

I think his striking is actually really good for a grappler and decent for a fighter in general, agree with everything else though!

Fun fact: Bryce Mitchell has the highest top position percentage of all UFC featherweights with at least five fights in the organization.
46.3% of his fights are spent in top position.

I know Bryce won the fight, but If Andre Fili is able to defend TDs, cut you up and land like that on you , you're not dominating or taking down and controlling the likes of a Zabit or even someone like Burgos.

Which zabit round 1 and 2 zabit no hes not...

But rounds 3 ,4,5 zabit he probably pummels him into a living death

I watched Bryce on tuf. Never thought he was amazing but he gave his all. I was quite surprised with his run in the ufc. I don’t think he’s a hype train, he’s just getting to his level (which is probably in the top 15). He won’t be ‘derailed’ if he loses
