330 by 12/31 or die tryin, homie.
Thanks man. Sometimes I'm overly critical.
I'm trying not to be over-eager or get my hopes up but it feels like good things are coming. I just want to coach a bunch of people that want to lift and not be broke doing it. I'm not askin for much. I said lawd take me down town....
Is there no way of turning any of your passions into sources of income??
I like lifting, grappling, and playing music. I've been a music teacher and it sucked, and I wouldn't want to work in or own a recording studio due to the long hours.
So lifting and grappling is either S&C coach(hyper competitive), personal trainer (not sure I could deal with the corporate bullshit and blatant lying about fitness) or running my own gym/workng in a gym. The third seems the most likely option, get myself some kind of S&C accreditation, start trainign people, get my purple and start teaching one or two days a week for little to no money. Save some cash and open up a gym in a unit somewhere, then try and grow it until I can quit the day job.
Luckily I have no qualms about living like a student and not having kids or a house in order to "live the dream" as I approach 30.
tl;dr the stuff I enjoy doing isn't lucrative - the downside of living an "alternative" lifestyle. Would have been nice to be passionate about being an architect or some shit. But no I like high gain amps, combat sports and lifting weights.
