Sounds rough, bro.
Never underestimate the power of you dietary intake. Also, Sheiko is pretty taxing in itself and reducing intake is probably helping to exacerbate you body AIDS...
I hope you can get your physical motivation back...
Yesterday, a pretty normal day, I took in about 3850 calories which broke down roughly into 425C, 140F, 120P. Estimates, obviously. In the evenings I eat until I feel sick, wait a little while, and eat some more. I could potentially get some easy carbs in the form of dextrose or some such but it becomes a cost issue. My food budget as is already takes up the bulk of my spending. For perspective it costs me way more to eat than to pay rent.
I appreciate the well wishes broski.
Lame as hell.
Everyone knows facial hair improves your lifting. Have you considered considered growing a beard as part of your R&R?
Well I usually rock one through the winter and shave in the summer. Given that my numbers have gone up since shaving at the beginning of the season I'm hesitant to blame my lack of scruff but then.... who knows??
Take some days rest man. Dont make the mistake I did. I kept on pushing, and my hip is still not alright.
Hope shit improves bro!
The hip is feeling considerably better today. I was up and down the ladders numerous times and in all sorts of odd spots at work with no real discomfort earlier. So, that's a good sign.
Thanks man!
Have you considered adding more anger to your daily regimen? The squat video didn't even have any grunting.
Well I've been intentionally holding back on the murder/death/kill/rage face lately. Trying to save it. Also this was in the CF gym and I'm not sure if they're ready for that.
Been there, done that.
Injuries are training progress's wort enemy. Legio, hope shit gets better, man. The one thing with fixed multi-week periodization programs is they make taking time off/deloading when necessary for injury-related purposes harder to swallow. Try to assess things objectively, and if the wisest decision is to take it easier until you figure things out/work your way back up then do it.
Also agree with kotriz; don't think too much of the supplements. I really doubt 15 grams of creatine and leucine will any difference to training injuries.
Indeed. I'm hesitant to call this an injury. When my left knee quit about 18 months ago, that was bad. This isn't even in the same stratosphere.
The doc at the clinic said fatigue and aches/pains are very common symptoms of what this chick laid on me. That's reassuring. They gave me a bunch of antibiotics that supposedly clear things out within 7 days so.... we'll see what happens.
I very much doubt the supplements have had this much of an impact either. I mean, come on. However in looking back on the past month of training that's been one of the only real abnormalities so I felt obligated to at least consider it.
