Daniel Cormier down to 212 lbs 3 Weeks out.

Dude is gonna beast Rashad. I just wish the orginal Fedor had also dropped to 205 because Black Fedor is gonna run through everybody at 205....maybe even Jones?!

DC is looking good. Interested to see how the cut will affect his performance.

He used to wrestle at 184 in his early 20's.

Against a really game Josh Thomson.

The smallest LHW on the UFC roster. Seems like a recipe to take an ass kicking if you ask me.

This doesn't surprise me at all. As I tried to explain countless times to people who kept citing his problem cutting weight at the Olympics, the guy can make 205 without cutting one pound, he just had to diet. As you can see he still has plenty of fat on him. Realistically he could make 185. 205 was never remotely an issue.

It was "remotely" an issue as he obviously likes to eat and has health problems that prevent a massive cut. He has dieted down nicely (congrats /kudos to DC!) but now, like I and others predicted he is an UNDERSIZED LHW. People couldn't seem to get that concept but here we go.

I'm really not. Literally half this forum thought he was going to straight up cut 30lbs of water weight (im not joking, shouldn't be a shocker since this is sherdog after all).

Literally everyone who mentioned dieting down in the old topic had there quotes ignored completely as shertards screamed "buh buh the water weight !" "the kidneys !"

I dont think you know what "literally" means but ok. I never saw a lot of messages like that but that's not to say there weren't any.

I always thought the question was whether he'd have the discipline to diet down the right way. Like I said, the opportunity to wrestle in the Olympics wasn't enough to make him do it so it was a fair point to wonder if this would.

He was an even more undersized HW so what's the problem he was fighting guys who were much bigger and taller than the guys at LHW so no size won't be an issue

Really? DC looked real at against HW's but this ain't HW it's LHW where is everything and moves a little faster depending on who you're facing. Why I see it DC needs to make a fit weight cut that won't leave him depleted or dehydrated then fight, not spar but fight!
I can't wait for Rashad to derail the hype train...

lol, so those lhw's....they cut all that weight because....lhw is....harder.....to fight in?

Oh and with his wins at HW, its no longer hype. It would just be one really good fighter beating another one.

I really thought he wouldn't be able to cut weight safely, now let's see how he performs.

That's a pretty poor photo. They got a ton of a blank wall at the top and cut his lower legs and feet off. :icon_lol:

Why would someone take a photo at that strange angle?

Yeah, fuck their cardio and fight training. They should sit down and work on their photography and photo shop skills!

He's better everywhere.

Really?!? interesting .... Because with all this weight he had to lose for this fight is he gonna carry all that strength over too. I hope you remember Rashad is one pretty fast dude and he has power as well.

bunch of fucking assholes in this thread

dude almost DIED last time he cut weight

People saying he looks fat have to be either skinny twinks or really dumb people

I think anyone claiming that Cormier looks fat should be required to attach a shirtless selfie.

I don't think everyone understands the role that genetics plays in your body's appearance. Cain is a great example. Nobody in all of MMA works harder than that guy- he's a cardio monster for HW. Not everyone can look like the guys in the Calvin Klein ads, no matter how hard they work or how diligently they diet. And, at the end of the day, it has jack and shit to do with what happens inside the cage.

People on this site assume that any weight that is not ripped body builder type weight is just useless fat waiting to be cut.

We all know Rashad is just going to play his run around and avoid at all costs game. He wants no part of Cormier's grappling/wrestling.

God forbid if Cormier gets Rashad down on the ground...fight over.

Cormier hasn't done much damage on the ground to anyone of note. His ground game really isn't that dangerous.
