Hes trying to say the UFC cant book Conor right now because its bad optics but we wont do anything and as soon as his trial is over well sign his next fight
I recall how incensed Dana seemed in the first interview after Conor attacked the bus . Dana was fuming. About a week later when Dana changed his tune and said he had the utmost respect for Conor, I realized I had been shammed. He had said numerous times initially and firmly that the law would take care of Conor, and the insinuation was that the UFC would NOT. Then I realized that when all was said and done, Dana's response would probably be that Conor had dealt with the legal system, etc, and that it was over.... And that essentially it was back to business. Moral of the story is to understand that as long as there is money to be made, ethics and all that nice stuff are out the window. We can think Dana is a rotten piece of shit, but it won't change Dana. He's out to for a payday.
