Actually, he was still ranked in the top 5 of the division, so I'm not sure where you're going with that. And he really believed he deserved a title shot coming back from injury - he had been promised one before his injury. So instead of even demanding a ranked fighter, he signed to fight an unranked one. No one forced him to sign that fight. It didn't make sense for him at the time. But now all of a sudden he has an issue fighting Aldo, who is ranked (he's literally a champion).

Are you sure? Khabib is a monster sized LW who wrestles with HWs.

He has had trouble making 155lbs, several times. I think the size might play a huge role in a fight against Aldo.

No. Not sure, but that would be my prediction. Aldo is undersized, but his guard is solid [At least until he gasses], his TDD is elite, he is faster... Outside of size, he is the worst match-up for Khabib.

Tibau did with size, what Aldo could potentially to with speed and technique. Add the fact that he is a head and shoulders better striker than Khabib, and I would favor Aldo. I would heavily favor Aldo to be honest.

Khabib has a lot of hype right now, but many people are overlooking his flaws.

Unless Conor gains the welterweight title, he can't just drop the lightweight title and run like he did FW once he gained the LW title.
