Max doesn't spar, that'll probably be his saving grace. A lot of these guys took more damage in the gym than in the cage.

Topuria is gonna give max plenty of damage, more so than what would happen in sparring.

He actually had very little ring time in the UFC. He was the starting linebacker for the football team while he was the wrestling team's Heavyweight. That's a lot of blows to the head, year round, even before you attempt a fighting career.
