Media Dana White Doesn't Love the $10 PPV Price Increase

I don't believe him, but I am surprised he isn't insulting the fans and calling them goofs

People really need to clue in that all Dana is in charge of is being the front for the media and dealing with celebrities who want tickets to events. Day to day business is done by the suits and their partners

So ESPN raised the price of the PPVs AND the price for ESPN+ both on their decision? Fuck those clowns

Let's all boycott this card so they bring down the price.

I wonder if this increase is only in the US?

Can someone confirm if next week's event is showing as $75, or is the increase effective at a later date?

It's still showing as $65 in Canada.

Hoping maybe the price increase doesn't affect us above the border. After all we had to pay for UFC 267 when it was free in the US :)

It’s like 25nzd here or 18usd, you guys are being reemed

Hey Dana what do you do to relax? What a sad excuse for a journalist.

Worth the money if the cards were better. Too bad there's so many sandy fighters sittin on the sidelines now.

That;s ok Dana, no need to feel bad.

Has been 0$ for me for the past few years, will continue to be 0$.

I don't know when Sherdoggers are going to understand he doesn't own the UFC and doesn't have power like they think he has. People on here think he can increase fighter pay to 50% for something that is part of a publicly traded company.

The reason why WME picked it up for 4.2 billion wasn't to pay out 50% revenues. ESPN same thing....they want $$$ hence increases.

Its like when Dana tried to have Khabib vs Tony during covid and the ESPN/Disney bosses shut him down. Again not the owner and doesn't hold the power.
WME literally kept Dana as fake front and take the heat and criticism. They own him more than one might imagine.

I remember fights use to be $39.99 and $10 extra for HD.
yeah but that was before fight cards got wayyyy more stacked . Didnt you read , this is one of the "biggest HW Title fights in MMA history". :D

I am really surprised there are people out there paying 80$ but well then you cant blame UFC. Seems there are enough customers out there going along with it.

the thing is

the ufc sucks ass now & ppv events are rubbish & not even stacked

Mandatory vaccines, forced lockdowns, forced quarantines, vaccine passports, spying on citizens, using military propaganda against them.. Yea, bunch of fake polite, passive aggressive twats up there with a soulless coward for a prime minister.

Canadian Braveheart has been trying to save them from themselves.

Just ordered it in case, but I'd be surprised it they raise the price days before the event.

So far no one from the US has confirmed if UFC 270 is $75 for them, or is it effective from UFC 271?

I asked this question in another thread too.

Can confirm its $75 in USScreenshot_20220117-073843.png

Outside of having multiple people over to watch and chip in, very few fans will pay 80 bucks for any fight card.. You'd have to be a major fight fan to justify spending that on your own.

For mega fights like

Conor/Khabib Sure you would pay.. But UFC/ESPN have priced out their fanbase. And the numbers on these buy rates will NOT be made public.. But for sure they will be very very low on this upcoming card..
