I only said no matter how little or much of MY money I give away, I hope the recipients are thankful. I never said Joe wasn't.

EDIT: Oh, I said that in a different post. I said here that Joe should be thankful. Never meant to insinuate he wasn't. I'd expect he was!

They are actually building a fighter's "hotel"? I am assuming they are trying to cut down costs of renting rooms in Vegas and do everything in house. They are pretty much building a homeless shelter for UFC fighters to stay at while they go train at the PI.

Vegas. It was when they built the Apex. They bought a ton of land too. I think they were scared that COVID restrictions will mess them up and the hotels couldn't house their fighters. They are also paying a lot of money to house the fighters at hotels. I am assuming they are going to spend 20+ million to build 100 rooms but it will be worth it after a while.

UFC's parent company is doing a lot of other stuff on the side. They are going to start online gambling. I think is wrong to be the promoter and provide gambling for the fights.

I don't think anyone is really hating on Joe and most of us wish him all the success and money he can get. He seems like a good dude that's been through a lot and good on him for turning his situation around.

What some in this thread are doing is hating on how this is decided by the whims of the Bald One, when there is more than enough money being made to help all fighters have a far better standing of living, many of whom have gone through similar situations to Joe and are just as "deserving."

Can't say I disagree with them.
