Dana makes about 20 million a year. If he cut that in half, and "only" made 10 million a year and gave the money to fighters, each and every fighter, on each and every every fight card, could get around 20-25.000$ extra pr. fight. (around 42 cards, around 10/12 fights pr. card).

I find this interesting when Dana and a lot of Sherdoggers talk about UFC not being able to afford to pay fighters more.

Or better yet, the UFC could do a closer to 50:50 revenue split instead of their current level which is incredible low. Why is it hard for you shills to get this?

People really say the UFC can't afford to pay fighters more? That seems strange. Of course it depends on how much more we are talking about.

Sure Dana is the most public face associated with the UFC, but I assume there are wealthier persons affiliated with the parent company. So maybe pick on one of those guys.

But here's the oddest thing about your suggestion. If Dana were to do as you say, that would imply a somewhat saintly character on his part. I mean, rare indeed is the person - at any level of wealth - who is willing to sacrifice half their income for the good of others. I mean, such people exist, but it's just nuts to toy with idea of Dana falling into that category. As far as I can tell, Dana is above average in selfishness, not super-below-average.

But as a goofy, new way to raise the issue of fighter pay, it's somewhat original.
