I'm usually a supporter of Dana, he has done a tremendous job over the years to make the sport grow and many decisions he has made that people don't appreciate, have not necessarily been bad ones in the long run. However, what annoys me are all of these interim belts that are handed out left and right. RDA and Colby are fighting for an interim belt? What for? Wouldn't the winner be the number one contender? And why on earth would you keep an interm belt when you are crowning a new champ on Saturday? That is by far the dumbest thing I've heard in a while. And at the same time, Dana said in an interview recently that there is no way he's matching up Ferguson against Khabib again. This is of course something he likely said while still being pissed off at the situation, but he should work on being consistent with what he says and not say he won't match them up and the next week come out and say that Ferguson retains his pointless belt (= if Khabib wins, it's the fight that will be made).
