Dana says "no more flashy entrances"

Dana is quite literally that pain in the ass English teacher that played favorites and hated all of the dudes but loved the popular girls growing up. Just the difference is that he makes billions and can enforce this shit beyond middle school
It’s funny because it’s true

Not sure why he hates it so much. Fans like them and it makes the fighters bigger personalities instead of faceless Venum/Rebook assholes.

Would have to keep them to a minimum tho, definitely not every event and only fighters who really want to do something with it / deserve it.

Because he generally doesn't want fighters getting over on their own. Individuality is reserved for his handpicked favorites, like O'Malley.

They don't want the fighters to grow individual fanbases to avoid fighters trying to leverage them in negotiations.

This should be very clear by now.

Makes too silly and not as real as it gets. They should be allowed to use weapons in the octagon as well.

If they don’t have a cool intro then I can’t be a fan
It’s like YouTube

No flashy entrance but they can take 10 minutes before each fight to tell us about the main event and then take 20 minutes before the main event starts to tell us about the main event. Cut the in between fight report garbage and give us cool entrances.

Dana the type of guy to gross 25 to 50 million an event, pay you 5k/5k and then tell you: You're cutting into 15 seconds of ad time you fucking idiot

Basically those favorites are the ones who promote themselves so the UFC doesn't have to promote them even though the UFC is you know, the promoter lol

I don't get it. Even though the fight didn't live up to an Undertaker entrance, it still stood out and was memorable.

Dana has said before that he likes guys just walking to the cage and you not even know what arena they are in. He likes a consistent product. That's fucking boring. I WANT the arenas to feel different. When WWE went to MSG, you knew it. It looked different, it felt different and the crowd was different.

No more power slap as well please

This white belt is going to be a solid poster on here

He will immediately violate this policy for his good ol boys while putting foot on the neck of those he doesn’t like. You know DFW and the FW stands for fuckin weasel

Dana at one point was trying to stay away from being compared to WWE

Oh no more shiny entrances then wear a hat ya baldy ass prick

If you are tuning in to be entertained by a fighters entrance then you are the problem.
Who tunes in just for an entrance? People tune in to watch a fight, nothing wrong with appreciating an entrance before a fist fight. But one of the big points isn’t about us, it’s about letting the fighters exercise some control if they want to since they’re about to lose brain cells, seems fair

I think Dana just still has PTSD from that Chuck Liddell entrance back at UFC 43

Dana hates fighters

in other words no more hippity hop or things that offend boomers or
Americans with blue collared hard working christian values lol.

but whats crazy is that he has been on record saying he likes that underground fight club vibe for his,
hence why he lets the fans get so close to the fighter......which i get it but that got played out in the early 2000s
