He saying he won't offer the fight to Khabib because then he will turn it down and act injured like everyone else. So he's just not going to bother.

If that is the case then why even scheduled Khabib to fight which he already has, his excuse made no sense. He could have used a legit excuses that made sense like Khabib is already scheduled to fight and I don't want to have to find a new opponent for Fergeson as well. That would have been a non bullshit excuse as to why they said no to Khabib.
