USADA had to release a new statement because of what Hooker brought attention to. Supposedly all those changes happened years ago that no one was aware of and they just uploaded the revised policy after Hooker brought up the IV situation. This is definitely UFC/USADA trying to get back at Hooker.

I feel like I can also contest the "had to release a new statement because of what Hooker said, but that feels like semantics. Yeah, they investigate things when it's brought up, which only feels like Hooker didn't bring it up to them before, since he didn't do it with the commission either, who had the more immediate and stricter authority on that situation

Have we actually had a Russia poster confirm the translation in this video? The version I saw has a translation as "it's just a few salty guys from Volk's team." Now I am not fluent in Russian but I highly doubt that sentence exists in Russia anywhere.
They do ask him directly, but again I don't speak Russia. Why not just answer on his social media the instant an accusation came out.

He is one of Islam's top wins as an FYI. He has Charles, Hooker and Moises plus Volk now in a Champ vs Champ.
Everyone else was un ranked at the time but he does have a debuting Arman on short notice and Dober who is fringe top 15.

Aaron Bronsteter had a good opportunity to ask and talk about IVs with Islam. But not a single question, same goes for BT Sports.

And why was Hooker rank so high in the first place? I never understood it, as a fighter he isn't that good. He's just a brawler the first time he actually tried to fight technical like his brother Israel he got put out by Chandler, I thought he loss against Felder. He only has name value because he's associated with that group from of fighters from Oz/Nz. Anybody who watches MMA especially the Lightweight Division knew Islam was going to run through him, same reason why Khabib ran through Gaethje. Their ground games are inadequate. So again, Hooker never deserved his ranking & is only popular or well known because if his association.

Yeah I think everyone (even Hooker) knew what would happen against Islam. Hooker has managed to get some big fights in his career by some smart call outs, Iaquinta would be one example. The UFC love guys like this, will fight anyone and happy to mix it up.

Well the UFC used to love Hooker at least...
