USADA might have shown bias against some fighters. Paulo got tested a lot more once he started his whole fuck USADA and secret juice schtick. It could be his blood work is weird and they are trying to catch him. That girl Carnelossi got tested a lot. It's been 6 times in two months without a fight.

Why fuck him so dismissively? It’s not such a long shot that Islam used an IV. He and Khabib are very large for the division and they have both had difficulties honestly making weight. I think it’s silly he made the accusation without proof, but if he saw it and he knows it to be true, then so be it. I know a lot of people feel good about Islam having won that fight, and it was pretty close, tho I did score it for Volk. What you can’t say is that Islam put on a more impressive performance. Volk went out there like a god damn GOAT and took it to a champ who is so dominant that he’s never had a competitive fight, short of a flash KO. A champ that was clearly at least a weight class bigger than him who is the champion of what has long been regarded as the toughest division in the sport. It’s incredible what Volk did and Islam left that fight clearly looking like the guy who got the worst of it and carrying himself like he got his ass kicked, which he did. Fuck it, if ya saw the guy use an iv, shout it. But get proof ideally.

You act like this is some recent change that no one would be aware of unless they read the rules daily. If you’re an athlete subject to these rules and haven’t read them since 2019 that is completely on you.

USADA adheres to the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) code when it comes to prohibited substances, and that prohibited list bans “intravenous infusions and/or injections” of more than 50 milliliters, which is less than two ounces, in any six-hour period. It makes an exception only for athletes who have received a therapeutic-use exemption, or for those who received the IV “in the course of hospital admissions, surgical procedures or clinical investigations.”

So, it's not only the rule from day one, it's a pre-existing rule from other testing bodies. The ONLY thing that changed (which may have been the 2019 thing) is it went from no more than 50 milliliters in 6 hours, to no more than 100 in 12 hours, which is the same rate anyway

Fighters weren't using this "loophole" or "the rules" as any non moron would call it, because it's an extremely neglible rate. It's basically worthless and not worth the skin prick, so I doubt very many fighters at all used it. Islam denied using any IV and the Australian commission doesn't allow that rate anyway, so complaining about it being a "loophole" doesn't even apply in this case.

I haven’t followed it that closely. Ultimately I care little for Hooker. I’m just big on pushing for Volks performance recognition and if Islam did pull some shit, his being held accountable. Of course none of that is within my power so it’s just a fucking forum rhetoric-ing. Don’t mind me too much. Your point is understandable.

Lots of people haven't to be fair, but still virulently argue their points, so sometimes the fact checking feels like screaming back into the abyss that itself won't stop screaming.

I'm pretty hard line against cheating. I'm one of the "ban for life" guys on here, so I'd hope Islam got caught and punished if he cheated, but some people here are really fingers crossed on hoping he did. I'm ok waiting for evidence, but I'm not ok dancing for it while Hooker plays his fiddle. Either way sitting here's all we can do.

Or he noticed that UFC uses USADA and weaponizes it to fck with fighters. He knows how much he was being tested before and the amount of visits compared to after he made a statement. It's not rocket science.

USADA had to release a new statement because of what Hooker brought attention to. Supposedly all those changes happened years ago that no one was aware of and they just uploaded the revised policy after Hooker brought up the IV situation. This is definitely UFC/USADA trying to get back at Hooker.
