That said, one of those losses was against Poirier in the best fight of 2020.

Personally I don't give a shit about rankings, I want to see an amazing prospect/contender tested against something that will answer questions. Dominating a kickboxer in Hooker on the ground doesn't answer anything we didn't already know about Islam unfortunately

It's not 2 weeks vs 20 years. Fighters like Hooker can do exceptionally well vs wrestlers as they only need to train defending a few aspects of wrestling. Hooker is very good at defending vs wrestling.
