Dan Hooker and Tai…smh.

Dan didn't look terrible against BSD. The mistake he made was trying to take BSD down. That's when the fight turned in BSD's favor.

Tai on the other hand looked like trash mixed in the octagon with garbage in Tallison. Both guys looked awful. But that's the state of the HW division right now.
Both Trash
Sorry

The thing is Tai lost 30kg to get into the cage, dude was very chunky. WOuldn't be surprised if they keep him though even after 6 losses, there are a lot of cards to fill Down Under these days.
So he weighed in at 265 pounds/132Kg. And lost 30Kg/66lbs ahead of this fight…. So at 6’2, he was over 160Kg/350 pounds. His Fight Camp was basically a Fat Camp.

I heard Tai has been working on his ground game…

By the looks of it, he must be training under BJJ master Derrick Lewis
I hear Lewis has an open challenge to Gable Stephenson in RAF.

Biggest Loser for MMA. Very professional way to train.

Both these guys are nothing more than glorified punching bags with bad tattoos..

Tai “the Turtle” is STILL completely helpless on the ground

Hooker talks a good game but come fight time, he just gets butchered…

Got the feeling Hooker is already suffering from CTE and his team needs to step in as he has no clue what is happening.
Whats even worse is that both of these thugs were main carders, with Dan being a co main'er. LOL WUT

Unless your name is Volk, then apparently they're allergic to TDD over there

I know he's had to lose 18kg in a past camp, think it was usually 12-14kg usually, dude hadn't fought for a while though

Nah Dan is a legit top ranked guy. Just very inconsistent.

Tai is actual dogshit that just had some power

Tai had Tallison out on his feet to start the 3rd rd he was ready to drop the entire rd . Tai proceeds to hug him for 4 minutes. I get Tai was tired too hea fat but you see that blood and your opponent is ready to go adrenaline kicks in at least enough for a good 15 sec flurry which is all he needs to get him out for like 4 minutes Tallison was DONE an Tui just hugs him . Maybe Tallison riding him like a soft porn movie rd 2 got him in more a loving mood than fighting?

Hooker was looking like the better fighter but demonstrated Jean Sulva level fight iq . Literally pulling BSD into a total do.inant position . Also made dumb mistakes earlier.

The Tui fight I would question if its legit - never seen a fighter out on feet for a rd an the other guy stops throwing an starts hugging when he sees it. .makes no sense.
Silva can make good adjustments in fights. Watch how he mirrors AA stance and gets into range while cutting off escapes.

Dan Hooker has some decision victories even when he should have lost. Maybe quit while he is ahead and work on his foght promotion.

Hooker was obviously ranked higher than he should've been but he is a solid top 15-10 guy. I don't think he will ever be in the top 10 again but he will hang out in the top 15 for a few more years. He has the grit and chin to outlast lesser fighters.

With Tai, I have no clue what training that dude does. He always looks incredibly out of shape and he has terrible cardio. I get the feeling that year and a half off may have been to just grow his weed business and hang out at the beach. He is approaching HW Tony Ferguson and BJ Penn levels with this losing streak.

Dan’s been getting absolutely destroyed lately lol 😂 they feel more than just losses in athletic competitions. They seem… life changing.

Dan never seemed too intelligent but at this rate he will need a translator for his potential slurring.

But I aint no doctor so maybe let him keep getting mauled.

Both are in the wrong sport.

Tuivasa would do well under a ruleset where you can take breaks between each strike to rest and recalibrate. Something like #PowerSlap would be excellent for him.

Hooker would do well in PFC where strikes are more telegraphed and not as damaging.
