6 fight losing streak, last won 4 years ago, even took a year and a half off to improve (or so we'd expect) and that's the level of fight IQ and conditioning he came back with. Mix that with the fact that he's got no other weight class to go to and that means Tai better think about whether he's retiring, or just in it to keep getting checks with the occasional hope of getting a knockout in unranked matches, but either way, he shouldn't have a number anymore and any consideration of being a contender is well over.
Hooker has decent meat and potatoes and he's got heart for days, so it'll be enough to outwar guys who aren't ready to be real dogs, but that's it. Means he could still keep a rank for catching hype off of some prospects, but he probably shouldn't be fighting up into any potential contenders for a while at least
