Crime Dallas Officer Kills Man in Apartment "She Thought Was Hers"

She'll be out in 5. I'm really stunned. Un-fucking-believable.

There are thousands of people doing 10 years minimum for cocaine possession. You kill a guy in his apartment? 5 years and you are out. I'm sorry, but that is fucking bullshit. There is no way in hell the killer would get 5 years if he was a black man, and the victim was a white woman. No fucking way.

Well if you are a black man who goes to the wrong apartment and the door is unlocked and when you enter, there is a white woman 1/2 your size in there and you shoot her dead, yeah, it is probably going to be looked at by the jurors much differently.

Still. There is no denying race wasn't a big part of this sentence. I mean, I hate liberals, and race-baiters. But this is clear as day. If she had been a black, male officer, and the victim a white woman, he would have done 40 years minimum.

You mean like the 12.5 years the somalian guy got?

10 years is bullshit. Too lenient. If it was the other way around, no way would the civilian perp got such a light sentence.

There's nothing the right wing loves more then a docile black person who knows his/her place and forgives the same oppressing group who wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire.
Boy, you so woke. I wish I could be as woke as you.

You would probably be out in the lobby acting a fool while this man showed the heart of a man's man and a true Christian spirit.

Instead of being woke, maybe you should wake the fuck up.

He's a better man than I am and we could use more like him.
My daughter walked in as I was watching this live. Shes rarely seen me with tears but this moment was one of them.

Makes me want to be a better man. I would have wanted revenge and I cannot deny it. From now on I would hope I could have pause in a situation like that and be better.

Yeah, it's like that pastor dude who did something similar with the Green River Killer, and forgave him.

Like, I'm not that kind of person, but you can't help but be moved by such a gesture. Bigger man than I, indeed.

5-10 years for murdering a completely innocent man in his own home?

Boy that seems low, doesn’t sit right.

I don't do grudges, or regret for for that matter, but, damn, I'm one territorial son of a bitch and wouldn't trust myself that close to someone who killed one of "mine".

I hope that clip gets major air time. Respect.

Good for you for aiming higher.

Seems like there are/were minor protests tonight, but nothing out of control.

the 12 person jury only had 2 white people and the judge was black as well.

Never thought she did it on purpose.

Bizarre, then, that you clearly disbelieved that she walked into the wrong apartment:
How many times has this ever happened? And almost every apartment complex out there looks the same. Why would floor 2 be different than 3, and floor 3 be different than 4? That would be an architectural disaster.
30% of the people that live there have walked into the wrong apartment?
The next poll should be how many of you don't lock your doors?
Because the only person I know of that's ever walked into the wrong apartment was Cosmo Kramer and as soon as he open that door he immediately said "I'm on the wrong floor again"

You've been full of grace ITT:
Too bad she wasn't one of the Dallas 5 that got hit.
Might have prevented a tragedy.
Wheres Mark Essex and Micah Xavier Johnson when you need them?

That was directed at the statement that going into the wrong apartments was common.
I think she went into the wrong apartment on accident and was a dummy and shot the guy.
I also was one of the people in here that said maybe she should get a lenient sentence because it seems like a mistake
