Crime Dallas Officer Kills Man in Apartment "She Thought Was Hers"

Still. There is no denying race wasn't a big part of this sentence. I mean, I hate liberals, and race-baiters. But this is clear as day. If she had been a black, male officer, and the victim a white woman, he would have done 40 years minimum.
Yup, that is surely disgraceful.

Oh, no sense trying to play. You've already locked down the title. Undefeated, undisputed champ of stupid.

<TheWire1>Me? The champ of stupid? I'm legit shocked.

She'll be out in 5. I'm really stunned. Un-fucking-believable.

There are thousands of people doing 10 years minimum for cocaine possession. You kill a guy in his apartment? 5 years and you are out. I'm sorry, but that is fucking bullshit. There is no way in hell the killer would get 5 years if he was a black man, and the victim was a white woman. No fucking way.
It happens far more than people think. We had a convicted 1st degree murderer get less than 10 years recently. It was a case that I was connected to personally and honestly forced me to ask myself why the fuck I do anything for this city.

Thatd be an interesting story to hear

I wasn't aware I'd been asked any questions, but concession accepted on your implication.

After all, to accuse me of "cherry-picking" is to acknowledge that you got caught slinging a low-hanging cherry. I'm still confounded what exactly people believe was her motive for a "premeditated" murder.
oh, just because he was black, obviously.

Or coming off of a 14hour shift, back to a new apartment with her mind on PTSD, and seeing a man in her apartment.

Seriously, the only thing that sucks worse than this story is watching people want her to be an evil white racist cop, and throwing that standup brother under the bus, too. That whole Jean family appears to be amazing, and it sucks that they lost someone who was obviously a great guy.

Her bodycam was on, right? and she stuck around to try to resuscitate him, too. This is the worst premeditated murder ever.

There is no parole for murder in Texas im this case. She will serve all 10.

Then that is a long pull for someone otherwise criminally clean in a situation like this. Justice has certainly been served if she has to do all 10.

Her bodycam was on, right?
I was wondering this myself.

She was off duty so unfortunately I dont believe it was on. Imagine if it was though... this story would be much different.

Someone should FOIA her body cam footage from that entire day......

She didn't work a 14 hour shift and she did not try to administer first aid other than a brief "sternum rub".

I say give her the standard 25 to life.

I haven't been here for God knows how long but yesterday I've been seeing people saying they feel she deserves way less, & that astounds me.

I thought I was the only one who felt she deserves a harsh sentencing.
