Crime Dallas Officer Kills Man in Apartment "She Thought Was Hers"

I agree. If the deleted texts were recovered and only showed incrimination in some kind of intra-office sexual affair between her and her partner, then what relevance does that have to the case?

She obviously didn't want her relationship with her partner to blow up and become public, and attempted to hide it.

Her story was that she had worked an extra long shift and was so exhausted that she just didn't rralize she was at the wrong apartment.

The deleted texts showed that she was actually just stopping at home for a bit before heading out to go sex her partner. The idea is that they deleted the texts (which they know is a crime) not because they wanted to keep their relationship private, but because it pokes holes in the "long day, super tired" narrative. For what it's worth, when asked why he deleted the texts, her partner said he just did it because he doesn't keep texts that aren't of importance, not because they wanted to keep the affair private. Crazy that she also deletes "unimportant" texts.

oh no better delete my texts, don't want my inbox all cluttered! gotta keep your priorities straight after you just killed a guy

just deleted my unimportant texts like every normal day after i've shot someone

<Kpop01>

then there's the fuckbuddy/boyfriend, "just a text from my girl after she killed a neighbour, wasn't important"

<LikeReally5>

Also that she was on some sort of desk duty that day so it's not like she was out doing real cop stuff.

Gotta admit, this case triggers me particularly.

The notion that a man relaxing in his own home and through no fault of his own, can get blown away by an incompetent fucktard of a police officer (at the very very least) is maddening enough.

Now when its coupled with the solid possibility of said fucktard getting away with it, largely due to the 'blue shield' and judiciary cronyism, I can't help but be infuriated.

Come on now bro..

His apartment was the only one I saw with any kind of floor mat outside. Looks like all the lights are on (maybe she turned them all on?)

I'd like to see what the inside of her place looks like. I doubt you can mistake the two..

you won't ever know because she packed up and moved out right away, and nobody said shit

Yup. I thought I remembered hearing that too.

Sort of like the new Mexico school shooting compound getting bulldozed the day after it is found....

INTERESTING.....

This is even worse than I imagined. He wasn't anywhere near the door and the apartment was full of shit right from the entrance--shit you should be able to tell is or isn't yours.

This is insane. Dude was literally sitting in his living room. She just strolled in and murdered him and the police helped her hide her tracks. If she gets off on this, I don't understand how any man in America could ever feel safe with police around.

Lady not paying attention? Color me shocked.

Send her to prison for 15 years for being a dumb bitch, that’d be fair.

Everything is setting up so perfectly for a huge riot if (when) she gets off... and I really dont want that to happen and I really dont want to feel like it's coming. I hope I'm wrong.

There was a lot of shady shit going on with the police department.
Guyger was placed in a police car with the camera rolling, but the head of the union came to the scene and pulled her out of the car.
She was allowed to walk around and talk to others instead of being detained like anyone else. You know she was coached.

i dont think for one second shes getting away with anything. Best case scenario is manslaughter instead of murder. I mean her own defense taken 100% has manslaughter written all over it.

This is fucking ridiculous.

I don’t find it that strange at all. I delete all my texts a few times a day. Believe it or not it’s just habit now. Been doing it for years. I believe back in the day we were told have lots and lots of Texts hurts battery. I’m talking 5-7 years ago. Idk if it’s true or not but after deleting them for so many years every day I will sometimes try to keep them, only thinking “oops damnit” after I deleted them again

I am certain the initial news report said she was so tired from working 14 hours serving warrants in dangerous areas it might be an excuse.

Of course. Even without the footage, I think at best for her, she had a terrible lapse in judgment. She obviously messed up badly and she should face serious charges, like murder maybe maybe 2ND degree. But as an officerz she should have known better and reacted better.

Hmmm, I'm at a loss for what the right verdict is here.

Negligence causing death maybe?

1st degree murder doesn't feel right to me if it's proven they didn't know each other and it was an honest mistake regarding stopping off on the wrong floor.

I think it's unlikely that she was dating someone who happened to live in the exact same location as her apartment just on another floor. I'd take it that it was a complete stranger she shot unless there was compelling evidence otherwise.

Seems like she's a ditz with a gun who was genuinely fearing for her life because there was an "intruder in her apartment", but no way she should get off scot free.

So after you kill someone, you would have the mindset to go through and delete unwanted texts? Or would you kind of be preoccupied. I also delete texts, but wouldn’t sit down to do it during an emergency.

They presented her time cards as evidence. She wasn’t working 14 hour days
