What terrible reasoning. There's no need to play games. Amanda doesn't need a pointless win against a 145 can to justify a shot. They should just make the best fights. And Cyborg/Nunes is the best fight. Plus, Amanda has no one to fight. This fight just clearly makes sense. Megan Anderson is the only fight for Cyborg other than this.

Crazy how Conor McGregor gets all the hate when there are champions like Cyborg, Mighty Mouse, Woodley, even DC who's trying to duck Gus.

It makes sense to me, if Cris beats Nunes wich is likely, no other 135-er will ever move up again to fight her,after the 135 champ lost.
And I think every champ moving up a weightclass should at least fight once before getting a shot at the title.
Not to mention it's probably a diss at Dana for saying Cyborg - Nunes is the next fight without talking to the fighters first, like the bald asshole does so often.
Hell I would refuse it just to piss off Dana for being an asshole once again, no matter how great the money would be.

I've been a fan of Cyborg a long time but I'm starting to dislike her. I understand that she wants to build the division, but it's not going to get built by a bunch of chubby girls that don't have any skills. Nunes is clearly a BW but she'd probably clean out the FW division if it weren't for Cyborg. I don't have much of an interest in this fight or any other fight at FW to be honest, but Nunes would be a far tougher fight than some random chubby chick in Invicta. If Cyborg doesn't start doing what she's told I would be very pleased if the UFC cut her and cancelled the FW division.
