idk what im expecting. Im an RPG fan but not really a fan of RPG shooters. I loved Witcher 3 though. just think its weird that we customize a character and can change clothes but cant even see the character itself in-game. Seems like poorly thought-out User Experience

You'll probably see what you look like in cut-scenes and the equipment menu of course. Although, I also like the 3rd person option like in Skyrim or Fallout, If for nothing else just to see your creation walking around in the world. It's a small thing, but it is satisfying to be able to look at your character move about while being all decked out.

Anyone had issues pre ordering on the Xbox store? I’ve tried a couple of times and just get An error code.

A lot of lore explained via comics btw

Been watching youtube vids on them

144hz/60fps 1440 or better. I don't get how everyone can't tell the difference. "Looks the same."

I guess it's one of those things that you have to experience first hand for hours. Because then, going back to 1080p/30fps would be more noticeable.
My monitors got stolen sometime ago and I had to put a couple old 1080/30 monitors I had up. I haven’t gamed much on my PC since.

Can’t do 30fps on high paced shooters when everyone else is 60 or higher.

Huh that is odd, I didnt think about how there isnt a point to customizing your look if its first person lol. Ive never played Witcher though, but in RDR2 I loved changing my look, though I could always see it in gameplay.

This sounds legit to me.

I was excited for Shadow of War, the sequel to Shadow of Mordor, because of everything they added to make it even more awesome than the first game.

But after playing through it once.... it just wasn't anywhere close to being as awesome as the original. They added way too much that was supposed to improve the game, but ended up making it far more cluttered and less enjoyable to play.

No, I'm not referring to the online play or microtransactions, and I completely ignored the story.

Looking at ALL they aspired to do when first setting out to make CP2077, and now after the cuts, they still have everything I wanted.

Did anyone really want wall running?

Does anyone else wish they cut the stupid Maco out of Mass Effect 1?

How about cutting the planet scanning out of Mass Effect 2? (Its one of my favorite games of all time, but that part is undoubtedly the worst part of it)

So, for everyone who are pissed about cutting _______ out of CP2077, relax. If they REALLY did cut it because of time restraints they'll probably be able to fit it in a DLC or expansion.... OR they tried to make it work and couldn't, so its better left out of the game completely.

Games can change wildly during the course of development. I think back to how much Quake changed from being sort of an action rpg type game that John Romero wanted to eventually just being Doom with a 3D engine.

Wall running would have never been used by me. Would probably have just ended up being more of a gimmick than actually useful anyways.

Walls could have proven flanking routes or means of vertical/horizontal reposition; would have loved it myself. May Crom pee-pee in your cyber-teepee, good sir. :p

I used 3rd person a lot in both of those games as I always like to mod a lightsaber in. It's just easier to use in 3rd person. It's also cool for screenshots and seeing your equipment.

It still bothers me that they couldn't give us the option like that, but I keep forgetting that it will be modded in by someone.

I'm playing through Jedi Outcast again and one of my fav things to do in the game is wall run, especially in MP. That's another disappointment from CDPR. Hopefully someone mods that as well

Neither take away my excitement for the game, but they feel like big losses, especially 3rd person.

I can appreciate them keeping it 1st person despite loving the way the latest 2 Deus Ex games have utilized the Rainbow Six Vegas mechanic of perspective switching in tps, but the removals of vehicle customization is huge. Really, you're giving us a game in the Cybrpunk universe where everyone mods everything, and we can't mod cars of all things? That's straight bunk. Bunk, I tell you!

Seems like something they cut just because they didn't have time to add it in. I feel like they shouldn't have anounced a release date until the game was done.

Yeah games always end up cutting back on features to optimize performance and make release date. Honestly think people are overreacting like they tend to do.

Developers? I want that game already. Been long enough.

Then again, 21 days isn't much considering everything.

Can't believe they are delaying this again. Oh well I didn't plan on getting it until I had my new video card anyways. Even then I'm going with Control first.
