I've "seen the light", as have most people. It's not a big deal, unless you fancy yourself a pro gamer that absolutely needs those extra frame rates, and whatnot. The only time I ever given a shit, is when PC's were running games that consoles simply weren't capable of running. That's not the case anymore, which is a big reason why consoles still dictate the market. The option is there for anyone who cares, but...not many people care. It is what it is. If you think it's absolutely vital to your personal experience, that's fine. Most don't believe it's all that vital, though. Even after they've been given a presentation of the differences.
PC gamers think that comparing all the little details today, is like comparing an NES to a PS4. That's just not the case. For most people, the differences are negligible.
