You can't call us Console Peasants anymore! The Series X is more powerful than most gaming PCs out! Maybe what, .5% of PC Gamers will actually have a system more powerful than the Series X?
Second place in this race is the peasant's space.

You can get the PS4 version when they release the PS5 version, and I bet itll be way cheaper still. I fully expect you to start of with Demon Souls anyways. You'll probably be on that game for a while. Ill wait on Cyberpunk reviews and see if Ill play that before Demon Souls.

Hell no bro, they may be well spec'd for their time now, but PCs will still be king, since tech moves real quick.
Yeah, I think it’ll probably be cheaper initially so that aspect makes sense. But if the PS5 version comes with DLC they’re launching then that might make up for it. Kind of a gamble I guess.

You’re right, I’ll be on Demon’s and Miles, R&C is in the launch window too so I’ll have plenty to occupy me.

That makes PC gamers 2nd then.....The average Xbox user will be on a more powerful platform than the average PC User.

Pretty sure the average PC gamer is gaming at 1080p.

The average Xbox user is playing at 1080p 30hz-50hz. They aren't even on our level bruh.

How many xbox gamers do you know with a 4k 60fps screen.
Probably the average one considering 4k 60hz tvs are the standard now, and if you have 500 for a console to game in 4k, I'm sure you can afford a 4k TV.

The average/cheaper end 4k TVs look and run horrible for proper gaming. I have a 60" 4k TV but for gaming I'd rather use my 27" 1440p monitor.

I know about 2 people who have a 4k tv. Most people with an xbox can barely afford that and have to save for it lol.

"Horrible" is quite the stretch. It's fine.

The average gamer isn't concerned about those minor details. That's hardcore nerd shit.
No, it is horrible if you go from "amazing" to "meh." You just haven't known the difference.

It's nothing to most people. I've been arguing this forever. You think consoles are still selling like hotcakes, because the average gamer cares about these little details? If they did, everyone would be a PC gamer. A little presentation difference, isn't going to effect most people's mindset. The only time it was truly relevant, was when the big switch from SD to HD happened when 7th gen launched. That got people buying better setups.

It's gotta be a monumental difference for the masses to really give a fuck. Frame rates, and minor graphical improvement doesn't move the needle for most. It's hardcore nerd shit.

They aren't little details once you have them, though. If gaming is important to you, and you've had the best, then going back to subpar is really hard.

Like how you've been dealing with an HDD for 5+ years while the rest of us know SSD speed. So when you guys get your XBox or PS5 and say "Wow, the loading times tho!" we'll be like "....really?"

"Important" implies that you are rather hardcore about. Most are not. That is my point. It's a leisure activity to most, and the basics do just fine. There has to be such a huge leap, like going from SD to HD to make most gamers feel like they're missing out on something. All the little details don't really matter, as long as the games look and run relatively good.

$500 seems like quite a buy for a leisure activity.

Plus, like I edited in, the "little details" like an SSD and 60fps will make the last generation look obsolete. So at that point, are they little details?

Pssh, how much does the average person spend on a TV just to watch programs in HD? $500 ain't shit.

That was essentially the same case this gen. The consoles were obsolete to the premium PC rigs, before they even launched. Did that kill the console market? Obviously not. Very few people give a shit. If it runs and looks fine enough, that's all that matters. The "little details" are for the hardcore nerds. Most people don't notice, and don't care. If they did, consoles would not be a thing. Certainly not the thing leading the industry.
