Da fuk this thing has multiplayer

Sounds forced

No, Cyberpunk2077, being released in less than two and a half months, won't have multiplayer or any microtransactions. Period. All DLC will be free, with the exceptions of the giant expansions.

If you've played Witcher 3, you know those expansions will be worth every penny you pay for them.

There will be a separate Cyberpunk2077 multiplayer that will be released in a year or two, says CD Projekt Red, so that probably mean five years.

THAT will have microtransactions.

I think it's kinda bizarre that we still don't have recommended specs. I wonder if they're having trouble getting the performance they want with mid-tier hardware.

Great posts in this thread dude! Cheers for all the informative posts.

Dude, I was considering going through each of LegacyKillaHD's videos and typing out all of the underreported bits about the game.

That would have taken HOURS, LOL.

Don't think I've been so hyped for a game release, for at least 15 years. I've become so jaded with new games being so disappointing.

Still waiting for reviews though, just to be 100% sure.

I've kind of dipped in and out of being hyped since the initial announcement more recent to the Witcher series than I think a lot are so feeling pretty fresh off of the buzz I got playing that..
I often try and stay clear of most information prior to release of games but I can't stop myself with this one now it's so close to release.
I've been on a few months now of nothing sticking and also being too poor to really take any punts on anything I'd probably enjoy, this really seems to be ticking all the boxes from the minimal amount of information i've gathered(mostly from the last few pages of this thread).. Most hyped i've been for a big game since MGS Phantom Pain I think. I just got my first job in 9 months and this will be a bliss first treat from my first pay package!

I hadn't played Witcher 3 before watching the 2018 E3 demo, and I thought 'Well, it looks awesome, but what they showed is probably the best part of the game and everything else doesn't come close."

Kinda like, later, how Spider-Man PS4 showed the Rykers Island breakout of all his villains, implying they were going to be the big baddies of the game. Wrong. Most of the rest of the game was tame as compared to that.

But then I played Witcher 3, and both expansions. They were so awesome I immediately played them again under New Game Plus.

Then, I was hyped for Cyberpunk2077, especially after reading about their consumer-friendly business practices. CDPR is a quality company and they've earned their reputation among the fans.

Same.

I'm searching for new Cyberpunk2077 YouTube videos on a daily basis.

Funny how you mentioned Phantom Pain, I just beat it for the first time a few days ago.

That's the #1 example I can think of of a game that starts off awesome, for the first ten hours, then it becomes repeatitive mostly but with some awesome moments sprinkled in over the next seventy hours.... and..... by the end, especially with the repeating missions, it becomes a pain in the ass.

I'm very confident that's not going to happen with CP2077.

Anyway, if you want more info about CP2077, I can't recommend LegacyKillaHD's videos highly enough.

Yeah took me a few different starts to finally get into Witcher 3, did White Orchard to 100% about 3 times and then kept getting overwhelmed after that area. Once I finally properly got stuck in I found it ridiculously good, very fleshed out.

Definitely the production company's approach is very endearing, especially for a company making blockbusters, often find that kind of consumer-friendly ethos only seems to come from Indie developers nowadays.

Yeah I loved certain things about Phantom Pain, some ridiculous details that at the time blew my mind, typical Kojima stuff like dudes drowning to death if you stun them and they land face down in puddles, I feel RDR took a lot of those kind of details and received more credit for them.. You're right though it was very unfinished, repeating missions really took me out of it, I loved the spoiler ending though
how it links to the very first game
blew my mind.. still think MGS3 is my favourite though. That in mind I was pretty hyped for Death Stranding for a while, knowing I couldn't play it cos i'm not on Playstation, was literally considering getting the console for that game at a point, glad I didn't get too on board with that.

So far so good with CP2077 imo, i'm not even bummed about the postponed dates, I'd rather that than an unfinished thing with a day 1 70GB patch or some shit.. Can't write that off though still I guess lol.

I'll be sure to check that channel! cheers for the heads up.

Placed my pre-order AGAIN. I canceled it previously due to delays and not being all that excited by what I've seen. But im bored as fuck with games right now and I dont see myself getting a next gen console right away.

That said, I loved the Witcher 3 despite some flaws so im going to place my confidence in CDPR as a developer. I just want a cool RPG with solid first person game play. I like the Fallout games and im hoping this plays better.

This is going to be absolutely phenomenal can’t wait.

CDPR is the best crew in gaming by a mile.

I'm hoping so bad that they really optimized this game for PC. Witcher 3 ran roooough for quite awhile, and this shit? Looks way more ambitious.

They've had an extra 6 months to absolutely sure its going to be 100% optimized for PC.

They did mention, as LegacyKillaHD mentioned in one of his videos that the PS5 & XBX versions will be improved over the PS5 & XB1 at launch, but not fully optimized yet. They'll release an update in 2021 for the next-gen consoles.

Goddammit have to avoid spoilers until 2021
