Witcher 2 I thought was great hated #3.

Being honest, Witcher 1 came out and I enjoyed it, but I kind of outgrew linear style games. And by the time 2 and 3 came out I had out grown story driven game with little to do in an open world.

I don't ever knock the build quality of the games, or say they were shit. They just weren't my kind of game.

Umm...if you outgrew linear games AND open world games then what do you play?

Open world games with little to do in the open world* like Witcher 3.

I play games like Skyrim, Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead, World of Warcrft, Bannerlord. Things that are sandbox I guess. Skyrim I've never even finished the main quest, I just spend hundreds of hours fucking around.
The Witcher looked amazing, don't get me wrong but the open world while "living" was also dead, you couldn't go into a city and start trouble, you couldn't really do anything in the open world except kill the odd monster.

There is tons to do in the Witcher

I'll keep saying it FPS melee is garbage it always has been. It's fun in a gimick sort of way like Doom does it one shot type kill shit but constant melee? No Thanks. Guns or stealth for me in this game.

Also not a fan of desert area. Always feels lazy.

Every single open world game nowadays has a deseet area thats 90 percent empty and has nothing to do in it.

By the way map has been released and its looking small (to 4 chan atleast)
Ha e you ever played Gothic 2, the Risen series or Elex, made by Piranha Bytes?

While Elex is huge in comparison to the others, they are notorious for making smaller maps in their RPG's, but loaded with content. Risen, and especially Elex brought more verticality, which I always think of when I hear CD Prject talk about Cyberpunk.

I've been following this game closely, and it sounds like they are jam packing it with quests, while also thinking vertical. I really hope we can climb those skyscrapers, and enter tons of areas.

No new info, but there's tons of info that there hasn't been articles about that LegacyKillaHD has gathered and made YouTube videos about over the last few months.

I've watched all his Cyberpunk videos over the last week, and there's TONS of info I didn't know.

Oh, and you've heard of the 69.99 price hike on next-gen games?

Well... CDPR says 'fuck that.'

This is so awesome I actually want to give them the extra $10.

Edit - This is fucking genius. When the PS5 & XBX is released, many gamers are going to be annoyed when they see (if they haven't heard already) that games will be $69.99, rather than $59.99, which we've been paying that price for the last 15+ years.

But, Cyberpunk 2077 will be $59.99. THE ONLY LAUNCH GAME WITH THAT PRICE (probably). Even those who have no idea what Cyberpunk is, or of CDPR's reputation after Witcher 3, will gravitate to the 'cheapest' game after spending all the cash for a next-gen console, sales tax, AND $70 for new games? Why not go for the one $60 game?

And they CDPR should be thanking their lucky stones that Halo is being delayed. That ensures them to have the #1 best selling game across both next-gen consoles.

This move was fucking genius.

This could be interpreted differently you know..

The article says they had pre-orders already and the price had been set a while back. To sell it at $69.99 when it releases would invalidate their pre-orders as it would be a price hike.

I'm glad they are looking out for consumers but I wouldn't exactly call it a genius move.. doesn't seem like this was pre-determined. Remember, technically this game was supposed to have been released already.

In here games cost 69 euros since xbox 1 trolololol

Yeah, but EA, Ubisoft, 2K, and most of other publishers would have happily raised the price anyway.

CDPR is trending because of Gamespot and other 'gaming journalism' outlets are tweeting out this headline...

So, based off that headline, people are pissed. But its fake news.

Gamespot & Gamerant aren't altering the headline because they want that clickbait money, but most aren't even bothering to click and read the article in which the multiplayer is a separate release from the main game and will be out in one to two years.

So, this will... probably intentionally... giving CDPR bad press. And based on many tweets, several idiots are falling for it.

I really hate Twitter sometimes. Once something like that gets trending it's easy for idiots to pile on and turn it into a Witch Hunt.

I even hate FPS Stealth. Seems like an abomination to me.
