CyberBeast !!!

I had a 2017 Limited 3.5TT that I drove the piss out of, and it never skipped a beat. Bought it new, always Amsoil or Mobil 1 for all the fluids regularly, it was at 179k miles and still running like new when I traded it in on the same exact F150, just an electric version. Most people didn’t even realize I got a new truck. Love those trucks

Solar is the only way in California.. if you are NorCal even that may not work well from January through March. When I get a new roof in about 2-3 years, I'll be putting solar on my Southern facing area... then I may consider a Plaid. I can't get over my F150... I love that truck.

Bro, I’m telling you… give one a spin if you get a chance, just for the helluvit.
It’s fuckin fun!
I've driven other EVs, and sure the instant torque is fun.... But overall I find the experience to be very sterile.

Agreed that the silence takes away from the thrill factor.
A stick shift V8 with a little extra cam lope and a whipple makes God’s music.

On the flip, the silent ones are invisible to police

I have that same engine. Mine is a 2016 and it's been babied. It only has 55K on it, but it's good to know yours went for 179K. That engine is the same engine Ford tricks out and blows out for racing... it flies. People don't realize it can beat the 5.0 in a 1/4 mile.

Do regular full synthetic oil changes every 10-15k, drain and fill the trans oil every other oil change (this way it never needs a flush, or a filter change) , put fresh spark plugs every 50k miles, and swap the differential fluid for synthetic 90W140, and that truck will easily last you 200k , probably 300k.

Hit me up anytime with tech questions on that vehicle, I know every bolt on it.

Fastest vehicle I've ever been in was a Rivian truck. I don't know what the difference is performance wise between that and the cyber truck but I've never gone faster from zero to 60 in anything else.

But honestly it wasn't nearly as fun as my 450hp Barracuda. Yeah those things will easily beat my car off the line but the acceleration feels more like a roller coaster where my Cuda just feels like a caged animal in comparison. I'll lose a race to them every time but I'll have more fun doing it.

They should call it Tesla64.

The politicians in this state are trying to make it not worth getting solar. Between proposed tax per kw generated, income based grid fees and now trying to break NEM 1 and 2 contracts to cuts peoples over generation credits..... It's like don't want people to go green anymore.

It's all because these fucking politicians are in bed with pge, sdge, etc and cry they need more money. They justify it under the guise of "well off people who can afford solar" aren't paying their fair share and it's falling on poor people to pay grid maintenance fees.

I have solar on my house under NEM 2. Looking forward to getting fucked if they pass this (probably illegal) bill to revoke the contract.
"They justify it under the guise of "well off people who can afford solar" aren't paying their fair share and it's falling on poor people to pay grid maintenance fees."

Well they're not wrong... Let me pre-face this by stating that is is the first and probably the last time I'll ever defend anything out of Commifornia...

In Australia, we have the largest per capita solar uptake in the world and it caused a real problem, maintaining the electricity grid is a fixed cost and someone absolutely has to pay it, as a society just can't run without power. All the people who had houses and money were buying solar, their electricity bills basically dropped to zero, so they were not contributing to the cost of maintaining the grid.

This left a situation where the electricity companies needed to keep jacking up the prices for those without solar to cover the maintenance of the grid, but the ones that couldn't put solar and batteries etc, were basically the poor, the people living in apartments and the renters... while those with their own houses and money to install solar/batteries paid nothing ...which is kind of fucked.
